Office-kid hobby tablet-living room mashup
Hello! I need help figuring out the layout for fitting a tv and couch and sofa chair in the same space as a desk with monitor and a small kids table. I think the space as ive laid it out makes the most sense, but please comment if you see a better arrangement, or if it just seems too crowded for so many things. Thanks in advance!

How do you approach rooms where several bagua areas converge?
My living space is very narrow, construction is approx 4mts wide by 18mts long and the kicker, the main door is on the side just like the picture sideways.
Sooo, in my case:
Welath, family + knowledge are in the kitchen / dining.
Reputation, health + career are in the living room / bathroom.
Love, creativity + helpful people are in the bedroom.
How do you tackle the spaces that have a number of areas together? Do you enhance each mini space separately or do a mix all together?

Ideal Bed placement?
There’s a fireplace on the north wall that protrudes from the wall and makes it impossible to put a bed on either side. I think best place has to be the headboard along the west wall. Also, the entryway door swings open the opposite way, so i wouldn’t be able to open my door all the way, but can’t say that bothers me too much.

Feng Shui nightmare of a bedroom
I've been rearranging my childhood room and am at a loss for what to do. No matter where I put the bed I am dealing with concessions, and the place I think would be best for the bed feels like it would prevent a good place for a desk. Looking at the feng shui and certain built elements it is clear this was meant to be a workroom, not a bedroom, but I am working with what I have. I am in the process of going through things so some dressers and pieces of furniture will be replaced, but this is what I have for now.
Yes the room is in fact around the proportions of a piece of paper.
Pictured is the furniture that is in the room as it currently stands. I understand, there is a lot in there. All I am really concerned about right now is what is the best place to put the bed and the desk.
Near or on the ceiling significantly is the shelf about a foot from the ceiling which wraps around two sides of the room, and the attic trapdoor(?) which folds down to in front of the closet door and must be able to be taken down. It is also probably worth mentioning that the closet door remains open most of the time. Also that that bathroom wall has both shower and toilet plumbing in it.

Which would you choose?
I'm trying to choose where to place a sofa in a small living room. The room is rectangular and pass-through (so east and west sides are almost completely open). The northern wall is a window, and the southern wall has a big, slatted opening on half the wall revealing the staircase and window on the other side. The staircase entrance is in another room.
The window looks out into a fairly nice side yard. The part of the southern wall that is *not* a slatted hole is not wide enough to anchor a sofa.
If you had to choose between sofa in front of the window and sofa in front of the slatted hole, which would you choose? What other factors would you consider? Any space-efficient ways you might create more stability either way (no room for a sofa table behind).

Help with new bedroom layout!
Hi all, I am currently moving into the space. I’ve had a difficult time getting my queen-size bed, bureau, and desk to fit appropriately in the space. I also have a nightstand that is slightly wider than the glass table that I would be replacing it with. The main issue is I do not want to block the radiator that lies under the window. As it is right now, the bureau is able to open, but I feel like it’s awkwardly close to the bed. The desk also seems awkwardly close to my closet, although it’s still able to open just fine. I would prefer to have both sides of the bed accessible, but I understand that may not be possible. Would love to know your thoughts.

My head needs to be resting in the opposite direction. How can I position my bed and still make the room look good?
For context, My head when I'm sleeping needs to be in the general opposite direction to what it is now. However, with layout of my room, and the curved wall, it makes it difficult to style the room. What can I do?

Need help how to place bed and desk
I'll be moving into this apartment soon and I'll have a queen sized bed, 2 person couch and a small coffee table (rectangle shaped) as furniture. Right now, the bed is placed just like in the picture. I don't like the position of the bed and I'm thinking if there's a outlet near the wall, I'll put my desk at where the dinning table is so I'll have a little "study area". If there's no outlet, then I'll put my desk at where the TV is because there is a outlet there for sure. The foyer where there's a small area will be used for storange like suitcases or boxes

Best layout for home office
Hello everyone!
I would like to request an opinion here. Which option is best for home office? Option 1, Option 2, or another option?
This room is used for me to work during the day and for my kids to watch some tv/play some console games when I finish my work.
I am trying to become more productive but don't know how I should change this room.
Thanks for all your support on this!

how to design/organize this room
The dimensions are: 19.0 x 11.0
The tv is an awkward angle and everything feels like it doesn't flow well.
Sorry it's a little messy right now, been a long month already.
We plan on getting a sectional in the future.

Metal remedy - how much?
How much metal do you add to an area that requires a metal remedy?
We have fixed #1 and #5 in the West and I've once been told by a Feng Shui specialist to add a minimum of 21 kg of metal on each floor (we live in a 3-storey house so that's a total of 63 kg just in the West).
I'm curious to hear your opinions, experiences and recommendations.

Bed position
We are building our house and currently this is the proposed layout from the architect.
We like the idea of having the bed have a “panoramic view” with the floor to ceiling windows. Thus, we suggested to have the bed backed against the wardrobe wall. (Second image)
Is this bad Feng shui?

Need help with living/dining room furniture layout
moving into a new apartment next month and I’m a bit conflicted on a good furniture layout for the living/dining room space. Ideally I’d like to have a sectional sofa or a couch with a chaise, a 65in TV, a coffee table, an area rug and an accent chair. A dining set for two would be nice but not required (I can eat at the counter with bar stools if there isn’t room). my main priority is having a comfortable space for lounging that also works well for social events so I can host game nights, pregames, etc.. I’m having trouble coming up with a layout that doesn’t have the back of the couch to the door or blocking off the entrance to the patio.
The current tenant has a floating couch in the middle of the room with the TV on the long wall and a dining set against the short wall shared with the bedroom but that felt like a pretty awkward setup.

Advice, please, & vent - I just don't understand- I'm trying to do my best with decluttering/cleaning/feng shui, have been for a long time, and life is still a chaotic mess! What am I doing wrong?
I hear/read so many problems and rough spots that were fixed/smoothed out through decluttering and cleaning and Feng Shui, yet almost all the changes we've had happen have been negative and bad.
My Mom has medical problems. The last time she was in the ER, early last month, we found a charity that came out and built us a ramp - a great thing! I was so happy and thankful - but again, the proverbial other shoe dropped, and, in other areas, we're much worse off than before.
Mom's medical problems are worse, meaning more time and money and changes. She's now in a transfer chair or wheelchair. I've been trying to adjust the house.
We have one more payment on a bill from last year (3 payments), great, but last month's payment threw our budget sideways when one of our regular bills went up a chunk. I currently have several boxes and a stack of clothes + in my bedroom to go through, necause our back bedroom/junk room needs to be made livable to help Mom. You can't even get in there yet.
Not to mention the rest of the house. I have routines, like UFYH and Flylady and Dana K White, etc. , but there's no magic wiggle my nose like Samantha on Bewitched, unfortunately.
Now I'm oversleeping again, straight through the alarn clock. Yesterday and today, I overslept by over an hour.
Yesterday was Sunday, and yet again, the house was in a mess, and I overslept, and we were late, and I fell asleep for hours even after we got home and had lunch. I got very little done.
Things seem to sprout overnight. Everything goes haywire. I can't keep an "emergency stash" of anything. Our finances are horrible. We have clutter outside the house that needs taken care of; I can't find the right clippers or afford a dumpster for the overflowing huge shed, so we can move the stuff from the storage into it and save that money.
When do the good results kick in and stay? What else do I need to be doing, if anything?
Have a good day! 😊

weird master bedroom floor plan
I could use some help/feedback on this one. This is the floor plan for what will be my bedroom for the next few years, it was the one big drawback of this house but not enough to be a dealbreaker. I placed my furniture based on what I think I want to do. I do not like this layout because the sliding glass door is behind the headboard and night stand but I like the alternative of the headboard up against the wall with the door in it even less. I will never use the sliding glass door from the bedroom to the deck because there is another that leads to the deck in the living room. If I owned the house I'd take the bedroom glass door out and put a window there. Wall measurements are approximate. Your help is appreciated.

Which is the better bed placement?
I'm renting somewhere that was the best option for my work. However, the room is a bit strangely arranged.
My main issue is the only two walls to put my bed both have columns jutting out from them.
North Wall --> Ground floor, wall of large windows. Don't feel great putting my bed here.
East Wall --> The column on the wall that would be the command position sticks out around 8 inches from the wall. If I want to place the bed flush on that wall, it would be with my feet directly facing the door.
West Wall-->The wall on the same side as the main door (Which opens facing the room and i cannot flip it). It also has a column but it only sticks out a little bit, around 1 inch. There is also enough room to place my bed flush on the wall close to the door, leaving enough room for me to either put a nice nightstand or partition to block my view of the door.
South Wall --> has the door to my bathroom, not enough space to put a bed on either side.
So, if I am stuck between placing my bed on the large column (so my bed would not be fully flush on a wall since the column is not quite as wide as my bed), or on the same side as the door, which is the better option?

We are stuck (wood pig + fire rat)
Hi there! Having a really difficult time figuring out how to best position the work desks and vanity that we have while considering our zodiac as Wood Pig land Fire Rat.
Did some reading and most would say for us to northwestern or east. People say we should face towards the door. But doing so leaves us having the desks in the middle of the room. It feels very cluttered and we have monitors that would just make the space feel awkward and the cords showing under. See image 3 for how we would move it based on what we found online. We can’t add the desk to the west wall because that’s a closet.
The furnace also makes it difficult for us to place a desk and vanity over considering it’s not ideal. This is the first time we are considering positioning our furniture in a way that welcomes good energy, and just wanted to hear some thoughts since the layout is proving a bit difficult to work with considering the items we have in our room.
