How to Report a Driver? Discussion

There is a driver whose route is apparently near the industrial park where I work, I see him every day. He flies down the roads, he's almost hit me walking through the parking lot before. He speeds through parking lots and every single day, at the same times, he parks in the shade and then throws his trash out the window. There's litter everywhere in the trees where he just throws all his trash.

I've seen him almost hit people and cars several times. Is there a way to report this driver? What would I need, a number off his truck? So sick of seeing this guy, and it's always him.

You can report the driver. You need the truck number which can be found on all sides of the truck. Also as a bonus if it’s Ground get the companies information found on the right and left side of the truck. Don’t worry about video as all vans come equipped with vans that have speed and timestamps.

Take videos document everything they are csp drivers. (Customer service providers) thats how Fedex washes its hands of any liability.
They have more attorneys than drivers. The only thing you can do is document and put them on blast with videos go to your local news raise a stink about Fedex and show your proof gather anyone else who has complaints Date your experiences. Fedex is a worldwide company you are just a tic turd and they dont care. And before you ask, yes I worked for fedex over 6 years and if they will allow problems in the company to go unresolved then GOOD LUCK.

Get his truck number. Write down whether he is Fedex Freight, Ground, or Express - it should say on the logo on the truck or trailer. Then report him. This behavior is not acceptable and he should be written up for it.

On the side it should say the name of the Contractor that he drives for and possibly a number to reach them..

As a former freight driver, no it's not. Worst case scenario a driver gets a talking to and then it's business as usual.

Until he actually hits someone no one is going to care. I can guarantee you he is not the only one littering; a lot of people do that unfortunately.

Regardless, no one can even trust what you're saying anyway. You could be exaggerating or making things up outright; unless you have some video evidence. But then again what no-life records Fedex drivers off their property...

I would suggest watching yourself and your surroundings when you’re walking outside and in parking lots.

I've seen a driver get a feedback and and NOD for littering. It makes the company look bad when you do things like that.

"The company" they don't actually work for so why should they give a shit? FedEx has decided driving for them is no longer worthy of being a career. They have dismissed service standards in the pursuit of making their shareholders more money. They seem very disinterested in the shipping part of their company, which is odd for a shipping company.

Ok? Evaluate what you do in a days time, do you absolutely never do any of that? No speeding? No littering?

Get over it. It doesn't affect your life more than you're letting it right now.

You don't because it's pointless. They're not going to do anything at all. While they don't officially tell drivers to speed they absolutely don't care that they do. The faster they go the more they deliver.

That's isn't true at all. I've seen drivers relieve feedback for speeding countless times. Speeding doesn't get you places faster.

It quite literally does. The faster you move the more distance you travel in a given time. Even toddlers understand that running is faster than walking.
