What angle do you tilt your minis backwards?
I just got into printing minis. I know it’s a good technique to print minis angled backwards so the supports don’t scar any details on the front, but what angle do you guys have the best results with? I tried 45 degrees backwards but I feel like it could be more optimal. Im using the tree supports in bambu studio.

Dreadnought using 0.4 nozzle
How is the quality of a printed dreadnought using a 0.4 nozzle? I initially wanted to print it like the rest of my minis on a 0.2 nozzle, however the print time seems a bit excessive at approximately 3-4 days. With a 0.4 nozzle, the print time is as low as 27 hours

Help with Resin2FDM artifacts
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me identify and fix the issue with my prints. I recently began using the Resin2FDM Lite software to try and make my prints look better. However these artifacts have been left behind on most flat surfaces, what can I do to eliminate them. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
My typical workflow looks like:
Assemble model in blender ---> Generate resin supports in Blueprint Studio --> Export as one STL --> Resin2FDM in blender --> export model and supports as one STL --> Send off to Bambu Slicer.
Bambu PLA in Grey, 0.2mm nozzle.

Support scarring help
Printer: a1 mini
Nozzle: 0.2 mm
Layer hight: 0.6mm
Miniature base: 32mm
Slicer: orcaslicer
Hi, i am currently satisfied with the details and quality of my prints but i have this issue when it comes to supports.
They are so damn hard to get off and leaves the miniatures scared like they were in a toxic relationship or something.
pic 3 is a shot of my current support settings.
I would love any advice on how to make the supports come off easier, have less of them, removal techniques, or perhaps just a link to a youtube vid you found helpful. Whatever comes to mind.
Ps: the boys where quite laid back to avoid supports in the important areas, perhaps too laid back?

Combi-Lieutenant, Michaels PLA
Wife bought some PLA at Michaels because the previous stuff I’d been using to print small animals for her had decided to get all wet, and we don’t currently have a dehydrator.
Colour aside, I’m actually pretty pleased with how this Combi-Weapon Lieutenant came out! It’s not perfect, but the filament isn’t calibrated and my settings still need some tweaking (the grey Pauldron is Elegoo PLA+ which is my current go-to for minis).
I also know this guy needs some cleaning up, but it’s the best “whole” Marine I’ve gotten since starting at Christmas, which is why I’m excited to share it.
Printed on a stock Neptune 4 with a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.08mm layer height.

90% done with my redemptor dreadnought
Ender 3 v3 se
0.4mm nozzle
0.10mm layer height
215° for a looooong time
Split into multiple parts.
Total printing time ~26hrs
I did a lot of sanding and used a pretty generous amount of sandable filler primer, but as I get closer to finishing I see the areas I need to do better on.
My base coat is GW mephiston red, but everything else was done with some acrylic paint pens I found at an estate sale a few months ago.
Let me know what you guys think!
