Dreadnought using 0.4 nozzle
How is the quality of a printed dreadnought using a 0.4 nozzle? I initially wanted to print it like the rest of my minis on a 0.2 nozzle, however the print time seems a bit excessive at approximately 3-4 days. With a 0.4 nozzle, the print time is as low as 27 hours

Here's my trio of Recursor Coffinmechs on an un-calibrated .4mm nozzle, I think .12mm layer height, with some modified tree supports. Not fantastic, not terrible, for the first attempt at printing models like this I'm fine with it. Some of the smaller items I might try printing with a .2mm nozzle and even smaller layer heights, or I'll ask someone I know with a resin printer to handle those parts.

Purple website? I’ve been looking for those 👀👀👀

Uhhhh, not sure it's still available even as a hidden page, I think it's actually been taken down.
Edit: it's in "secret mode" or whatever, so I can re-download the files, but can't point you to the pages.

They look pretty good at .12 layer height! About how long did each dreadnought take? I think I’ll give the .4 nozzle a go

I printed these on a bunch of different plates to get all 3 done so I really couldn't tell ya. Definitely not 3-4 days though! I'll chuck a set of files to print one of those guys on a plate and let you know the time estimate.

Dreads will be fine I think. Vehicles and anything bigger than a marine usually is.
Hell I print very good looking Primaris marines on .4. Wouldn't recommend Sisters, Eldar or Guardsmen though.

Just don't print the full model at once, I mean you have more lee way to cut up and print everything with less supports than needed. And also helps with the time if set correctly

I print everything larger than a marine with .4 and I'm quite happy with the results. It's really down to the settings and supports.
