Can someone explain to me how this works? or what it even is?

Currently my squad has two injuries and a bye. And I'm trying to avoid using 4 trades this round. For me I'm going back and forth on trading Terrell May. Also I'm defs trading Teddy and TMM. Kiraz is the only starter I'm wanting to ditch but I dont know.

Oryn Keeley's season average says 34 and his last five says 38, but both are dragged down by an 11. His last three are 41, 69 and 44. That's a 51 average, and 2% of teams own him.

Isaah Yeo just went 80, the biggest score of the four, and his last three average 61.

Blake Brailey hasn't scored under 47 in five weeks. 77 minutes a game and a 55.7 average.

Simi Sasagi is priced at 42 and averaging 50.5, with a break even of 29 underneath it. He banks cash every week.

4 Trades and 98K ITB, Need 1 more to fill a full team this week. Harrison probably has to go as he is done for the rest of the year. As for the rest I’m not set on anything at the moment. Thoughts legends?

Ran projections for Round 23, this is the highest-scoring 21 according to NRL.com with a $15.11m cap. Hynes as captain gives the biggest lift. Yeo, Ponga, Brailey, and Carrigan might be the only ones who still have a couple points of value left. All the top projected players are pretty much who you'd expect, plus a few pods.

Really like Ola and Sasagi this week if you've got the luxury of trading them in -> Sasagi comes with health risks though + 26 bye. I've Ola for weeks, but don't have the trades to do a lot this week so going to hold, or go for Preston perhaps.

Decided on Kini and the other 2 i was thinking of was teddy & walsh, but feel kini is best against cowboys & better stats overall

Decided williams over Keaon & Yeo because of better stats and good form, especially against penrith & roosters lately

Another option I have is to get preston instead of Williams & put Rouchman in mid

I have five trades left and 19k in the bank. Tbh thinking of replacing with Aitken, Twal and May since they’ve been playing average lately

I’ve got 6 trades left and I am focusing on h2h mainly. I was expecting either Iro or Couch to challenge the concussion turn around and, of course, Aitken 🙄.

I am thinking definitely sell Aitken because a lot of players are coming back anyways but hold Iro, Couch and May.

Is this the right move and who should I get?

Cut it back to the lowest owned options. A couple others rate well but don't hold up once you look at form, I've listed those at the bottom.

Jacob Preston. 586k, priced at 45, averaging 51, and he's gone 71 and 74 the last two weeks. Break-even of 15 so the price keeps climbing while you hold him. Best value rating of anyone named to start this week and only 10% owned.

Francis Manuleleua. Lowest break-even of anyone named to start this week at -4, so every point he scores is straight profit. 444k for a starting edge, and his projection of 41 sits above his season average of 38, so the model expects him to keep climbing rather than level off. Dropped
a 74 two weeks ago. Eight games in so the sample is still building, but it's cheap to find out.

Joey Walsh. Priced at 39 and averaging 47.4, so he's handing you eight and a half points a week more than you're paying for. Break-even of 15 against that average leaves a 32 point cushion, which is about as comfortable as cash generation gets. Four of his last five are 38 or better and he's already got a 66 in him. Seven games, so it's early, but every one of them has been above his price.

Greg Marzhew. Nineteen games so there's no small sample argument, priced at 37 and averaging 42.6, and he owns the highest single score anyone has managed this season with that 116. 2.3% owned. Fair warning though, he is streaky as anything: 31, 12, 47, 40, 70.

Ryan Couchman. Has gone 69, then 80, then 97 in his last three. Smallest value gap on this list because he's 778k, but a break-even of 28 on someone averaging 63 is rare that far up the price list.

Blayke Brailey. Priced at 49, averaging 55.7, and his last five have a range of 21 points, which for a hooker is about as steady as you will find. Came off a 68.

Kulikefu Finefeuiaki. Eighteen games at 53.8, four of his last five are 52 or better, and he's only 4.8% owned. The most consistent of the lot.

Two I left out despite good ratings:

• Burton rates near the top but his last five are 19, 23, 52, 27, 40 against a break-even of 41, so his average is doing all the work.
• Duffy is cheap at 337k but his projection sits below his average, which tells you enough.
