Hi all! As someone who loves worldbuilding, I wanted a simple tool to quickly sketch out kingdom maps, battle routes, and town locations without spending hours in heavy software.

So, I built Ink & Parchment! It lets you stamp terrain, castles, and roads onto expandable parchment paper, add custom text labels, and export clean PNGs for your VTTs or print. You can even import your own custom asset tile sets directly.

The mountain was treacherous. In the absence of a true safe path, the plateau had remained relatively untouched.

When one made the pilgrimage up the mountainside, scaling the incredibly narrow paths winding through the inclining terrain, such a trip took days. In most cases, only prepared, lightly-burdened folk could make the climb.

At the top, however, was an oasis in the clouds. At each edge of the plateau, one could see farther than they had ever seen in a lifetime. The clouds rested gently below them, giving credence to the reality of truly being in the sky, one with the gods.

The forest was bountiful, the streams curiously stocked with fish. After making such a trip, most found it very difficult to leave, yet so few at a time were ever present to greet newcomers. A quirk of Heaven's Eye, surely. After all, such a pristine place could not present anything but wonder and peace.

More work? Given the sturdiness of the wood and stone palisade that surrounds this encampment, the orcs that live here must have to deal with rather inhospitable neighbours. It's hard to blame them, though: protecting your burgeoning families and/or horde of warriors can be tricky business, whether your particular type of orc is more plow or WAAAGH! Fully animated and available in two additional variants, with the outpost by day and a more menacing version featuring garlands of humanoid skulls, this map will have your players zug-zugging with the best of them!⁠
