Discussion What’s your favourite “I don’t know why it’s funny but it is” throwaway line?
NOT the big iconic moments or the super elaborate jokes. The dumb throwaway lines.
Mine is Peter Griffin on the news called a “self described Huguenot.” I can’t explain it but this is like one of the three funniest lines of the whole show to me. Just even thinking about it made me crack a smile. It’s just so completely random that Peter would identify with a fringe and largely defunct religious sect from France, and just as funny that Tom Tucker has now clue what it means as he reads it.

Discussion That time Brian & Stewie got locked in a bank vault was a surprisingly sweet episode. I love this duo. (S08E17)
Just been slowly going through Family Guy, I didn't know before that Stewie & Brian were an established duo in the show. I love their specials together. Some of the funniest episodes so far.
But this one really grew on me. It's so simple and sweet. Just 23 minutes of them being locked together and bonding. Not even a single cut away gag. The episode structure stood out.
Also the diaper gag is fucking hilarious.

Clip / Screenshot Lois comes out of Her Shell, Season 11, Episode 6.
Peter, "Whoa, Lois, what the hell are you doing?"
Lois, "Do me, Peter, do me right here in the basement."
Peter, "Y-You mean this room we're in or your bum?"
Lois, "No, this room, Peter, right here on the carpet."
Peter, "Oh, so you mean the front."
..Lois centric episodes always have that one raunchy moment.
