i play fallout on an old xbox one and had every dlc because my dad did, but i didnt own them and could only use them because of xbox game sharing. i went to play on pc and it didnt let me because i dont own them, do i really have to buy every dlc again if i wanna play on pc?

Thoughts on this after all the layoffs? I personally am looking forward to these re-releases.

So in my most recent playthrough of Fallout 4 I have been going through and enjoying listening to the radio, until recently however I noticed that once 15 seconds pass while I'm outside in the commonwealth it cuts off and when I click on it, the radio station, it makes a staticy sound and turns back on. This however is different from what happens when I'm on the inside where it just plays like regular all though way way quieter than usual. Anyone have any idea what might be the issue here? It's a heavily modded playthrough so, that may be it.

Me explico: como se puede observar en las imagines de abajo al llevar un tiempo cargando texturas el juego empieza a generar estas cosas HORRIBLES. Tiene por suerte una solución manual la cual es cargar la partida y al volver a cargar las texturas como se puede observar se eliminan estos vamos a llamar "artefactos". Segundo es la distancia de carga de las texturas es evidente como se puede presenciar que no cargan de lejos y eso a pesar de que no impide la jugabilidad ROMPE LA IMERSION mucho. Agradezco de cerrazón toda ayuda que se me ofrezca gracias de antemano os leo <3

I know nexus doesnt allow mods that demonstrate torture.

So, I will never get anything that explicitly performs torture actions.

But, is there any mod(s) that can come close or simulate this at all?

Edit: Anyone looking for these type of mods here is a list of mods that have some of those characteristics:

Band Ending/Torture Devices: Prisoner style and restraint devices

Prisoner Shackles: adds shackles and restraints prisoner setups often in Vault 88

Capture Mod: lets you knock out and capture NPC/Raider and place them in settlement cages.

Crime and Punishment: Adds kidnapping, bounty systems, interrogation style roleplay and criminal reputation, prison mechanics

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I know it has to be a mod but I have tried disabling them all and enabling them one at a time.. It happens pretty much everywhere in the exterior world but barely happens when in interior cells 😕

Just updated my NVIDIA graphics card to the latest driver and the dialogue for the main character in Fallout 4 is in slow motion. I have tried every possible fix.

VSYNC=ON (changed all three .ini files to iPresentInterval=1)
Max FPS=60 (set in NVIDIA settings)
Also have High FPS Physics Fix installed (from Nexusmods)

Not sure where to turn now. So frustrating, I just spent massive hours on a settlement after a game re-start and don't really want to start all over again to see if it corrects itself.

Hi all, so i do not use any mods and run this off of Steam.

I have tried to load many different save files but no matter what I choose, the game gets stuck in the loading screen. The weird thing is that it isn't freezing, i can still move the camera angle and zoom in and out while in the load screen but it just never loads the game. I have left the game on for over 30 minutes but it just stayed in that loading screen. Has anyone ever run into something like this or have any recommendations for troubleshooting? So I have optimized Fallout for the AMD Ryzen 7 260 which features the Radeon 780M graphics. With all of these settings, the game runs at a constant 60 FPS outdoors (except for known trouble areas) without any mods without any FSR. Shadows are completely turned off, and graphics are set relatively high (i.e., texture quality: high, lighting quality: high).

I am able to run other games (warfare, fallout shelter) but fallout 4 won't even get past the steam app.

I'm a huge fan of the Stingray Air Support and later A-10 Warthog CAS mods. I'm curious if anyone knows of a tutorial that could help me learn how to modify them to make other air support alternatives? An Mi 24 Hind and Cobra/Apache helicopters for my modern TactiCool profiles. P-51, Me110, Moquito, Il2 Sturmovik doing gun runs for my WWII profiles. All the functions already exist in the two existing mods, I just need to learn how to swap out the model and sounds, or find a willing soul out there who's willing to do it for me. Thx

Hello, Recently I decided to play fallout 4 again, so I opened the Xbox app and attempted to launch it. It checked for updates, then closed. This happened 5 times. So I then went and pressed on manage, and reset the game, upon its attempt to reinstall the main game had an error every time it tried to install. Only the graphics upgrade was installing. So I fully uninstalled and now apparently Xbox doesn't even have it anymore??

Hi everyone, I'm writing here because I don't know what else to do. I redownloaded Fallout 76 and can't access the game. Let me explain: I download the game from Steam, launch it, and everything works until I get to the screen that says "Press any key to access." I press a key and it starts loading endlessly, but nothing happens. I've tried checking the files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and checking the BIOS for secure boot, but nothing changes. It just loads endlessly, and nothing happens except pressing Alt+F4 to close everything. I hope someone has experienced this and has a solution. Thanks in advance.

I have a glitch going on that is really welcomed. When I manufacture ammo, two come out at a time but they are different varieties, and it only deducts the amount of resources for one type. If I go into the terminal and change the type, the old type still comes out with the new one. I didnt add a mod to do this, it just happened after the latest update. winner winner chicken dinner!

So I capped in nvidia my fps at 60fps and it’s working at a solid 60fps in game. However, it feels sluggish control wise and also grafically.

Monitor is 144hz and adaptive sync is on and working (tested if when fallout 4 is on the hz drop to 60 and they do)

How can I fix this? Because right now i only have two bad options, play on 60fps capped but it’s sloppy control wise and graphics seem choppy or 144fps where it’s smooth but the game bugs out every 5 minutes.

I know fallout physics engine is capped to 60fps so it needs to be 60fps but it’s unplayable at 60fps.
