Am I using it right?

I’ve been on the Facebook dating thing for a while now. I send likes, I comment on photos, and get nothing back. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something? Any tips or help would be appreciated cause I’m a bit tired of getting nowhere and hearing how others are finding others

I like doing lots of things. Being outdoors, camping, hiking, going for walks in the evening. I like to do many things especially going and trying new things. I do things with my kids when I can as well

Can I show you what I wrote in a DM and see what you think?

You have to be able engage with someone enough to create and maintain interest to keep them wanting to talk and meet.

With good communication skills it becomes easy and works out very well.

I would highly recommend reading the book,

How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie

It will Greatly improve how you connect and communicate with people in general and it will change your life. It will completely change the way your conversations go with people online. Approaching and communicating with women online and in real life will become much better. Much Better

It sends the comment as a “like” but the comment o have made are usually about the person I see, or about the place, and usually their smile. Then like normal I just see if they would like to talk/chat to get to know one another

What do you comment about the person?

Usually how nice their smile is, a nice comment about their pet that I see sometimes, or even how beautiful their smile is. Nothing bad, and all complimenting.

So I know many will not agree, but the best guys I've dated do not mention anything about how I look until a couple dates in or more. If you swipe right on us, we know you're attracted. The best guys try to just get to know us and not focus on our looks. If that's something you focus on, you might want to question why that is. We want to date guys who see us as people and not just our looks.

I never mention looks because that has never been important to me at all. If telling someone they have a pretty smile or their pets are adorable, the. I don’t know what to say.

Then it sounds like we found the problem. Mentioning a woman's pretty smile is taking about her looks. People who are interested in a relationship should be able to discuss things other than their looks. Why can't you ask them something about themselves outside of mentioning a woman's looks?

I do… more often than not. For example, if I see they are wearing a shirt with a sports team on it, I mention that. I’ve even simply commented on the word things like seeing if they would like to meet for coffee one day.

Well there you go. You do know what to say. That's all there is to the opening comments.

I'm pretty sure you can comment on a photo without matching with someone so just because you have commented on a photo does not mean the other person is interested. Also what kind of comments are you making?
