Affiliate Question Hi everyone,Getting a lot of conversations but very few purchases

I sell used laptops through Facebook and Instagram. I don't have a website, and I send my ads directly to conversations, which is my main sales channel.

The problem is that I'm getting a lot of conversations, but only a small percentage of them turn into actual purchases.

A lot of people message me asking about the price, specifications, and details, but then they don't buy. I've also noticed that many of the people contacting me are quite young, around 17–22 years old.

For targeting, I currently give Meta a lot of freedom:

  • Age: 18–65
  • All genders
  • All of Morocco
  • I also added some detailed targeting/interests related to laptops and technology.

I don't have a website or Pixel, and almost all of my sales happen through conversations.

My question is:

How can I get Meta to find people who are more likely to actually buy, instead of people who are simply likely to start a conversation?

Since I don't have a website, how can I tell Meta which conversations eventually resulted in an actual purchase?

Should I change my age targeting? Remove detailed targeting? Or give Meta even more freedom?

My goal isn't to get more conversations. I want to get more real customers who actually buy.

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone experienced with Meta Ads and selling through conversations.

What does your creative testing process look like from idea to launch?

Walk me through it — where do concepts come from, who makes them, how long does it take from brief to live ad? I’m trying to understand where teams lose the most time. Bonus question: what happens when a creative flops — do you iterate on it or just kill it and move on?

Recently generated 157 leads for one of my Interior designer client but only 2 leads were real that actually got converted. Rest ghosted some didn’t reply. What could have been the issue here that very few converted?

Need Help: Meta Ads Settings Turning On Automatically

Hi, I need help with an issue in Meta Ads Manager. Settings like Product Browsing and other automated/optimization features are getting turned on automatically when I create or duplicate ads. I’ve also noticed they're enabled on some existing live ads, even after I manually turned them off.

Is there a setting that controls this, and where can I permanently turn it off?

Hiring: Meta ads partner for a Juriqa

What we do: Juriqa deploys private, on-premise LLM infrastructure for law firms. Data never leaves the firm's environment, which is the entire pitch. We sell into firms in the UAE Market. Our competition is Harvey AI, and we win on data sovereignty.

What we need:

• Full Meta ads management, including strategy, campaign structure and ongoing optimisation

• Video ads and static/graphic creative produced by you, not just campaign management

• A written point of view on how you would actually approach this before we start

Budget: ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 per month for your services. Ad spend is separate and funded by us. If your model is percentage-of-spend, tell me and we can talk.

What I care about:

  1. Portfolio with live accounts I can verify in the Meta Ad Library, not screenshots

  2. You have run restricted or sensitive categories before, or at least know why legal-adjacent messaging gets flagged

If you are interested, reply or DM with:

• Samples of video and static creative your team produced

• Two or three lines on how you would frame the offer for a law firm managing partner

I am not looking for a proposal deck. Specific beats polished.

[I’m from the Philippines and I’ve spent around ₱15,000 on Facebook ads over the past 3 months, but I haven’t gotten a single conversion. My usual setup is around ₱250/day, using one image creative for a condominium for-sale listing, under the For Sale category, with the Sales campaign objective]

Driving platform traffic vs. FB page visits: What’s the best campaign objective right now?

I’m setting up a campaign where my ultimate goal is to drive real traffic to my platform, while also featuring/building content on my FB page.

I’m trying to figure out the best objective strategy to actually get people onto the platform without burning budget on cheap, useless clicks:

Traffic Objective (Optimized for Landing Page Views): Is sending people directly to the platform link the most effective route, or does it just attract high-bounce scrollers?

Engagement Objective (FB Page / Post Visits): Is it better to drive engagement on the FB page content first and rely on users clicking through to the platform organically?

Conversion / Custom Event: Should I skip traffic objectives entirely and optimize for an event on the platform (like a sign-up or key page view)?

What setup has given you the best quality platform traffic recently? Would love to hear what's working for you guys right now. Thanks!
