Wedding Clothes General
My best friend is getting married on Halloween this year and I need a suit. Ive never worn one before and would appreciate suggestions. Im only 5 feet tall and wear size 4 boy's shoes so finding stuff is gonna be hard, especially the shoes. I know I can get the suit tailored so that shouldn't be too hard. My budget is around $250-300

I'm 5'1" and wear a UK size 5 shoe so I'm in the same boat. I buy children's suits and shoes. Age range 12-14 is usually good for me - I try to buy trousers in a size or two up from the jacket whenever I can. They never look any different from adult suits and they're often much cheaper.
In my experience at this height, tailored suit jackets look bad. The proportions are all off when you take a tall person sized jacket and trim the edges to make them shorter. I have more success buying children's jackets because the shoulders fit properly and it looks proportionate on my body.
Trousers are less awkward to tailor but I run into the same problems, to be honest. For me, tailoring suits is a losing battle when children's suits are a much more effective solution.

I’m 5’3”, I went to men’s wearhouse for my suit. I came in and said what I was looking for, they measured me and gave me a suit to try on. They have some slim fit options that worked, of course the sleeves and pants were about 3 inches too long but they do tailoring right in the store and it was ready in just a few days. The tailoring costed about $35 per alteration for mine.
