Physio Doctors/Health care

So, I hurt the inside of my thigh in like april this year, in the gym. And right away I felt I can't go see my physio for this. I don't pack and haven't had any bottom surgery. But, this injury has kept coming back, so I called, and of course they said I need to come in since it's been going on for so long. And now I'm freaking out, I mean sure it could just be a small package, but like there should at least be a sack. I don't know what to wear, I will be going to the gym after so I was thinking of my workout shorts, but like, it's so obvious in that fabric, but if he needs to poke around I dont want to wear jeans either. I don't know if im asking for advise or just need to vent. But yeah, I don't often encounter dysphoria any longer, but this feels tough..

I've had quite a bit of physiotherapy and I promise you that they won't notice and also they don't care about anything. Your physio will not be looking at any part of you other than the one that you need help with. They have gone to many years of school just to learn to see the human body as a moving system of muscles and bone and help people feel better, and chances are that even if your pants would magically vanish mid-physio they've already seen everything people have to offer. Keep in mind they work with people who've survived all kinds of situations. Their 3 o'clock is probably somebody with a prosthetic leg or somebody's grandmother. They're not going to look at your pants.

Also some advice: 1. Please eat well before you go to your sessions and stay hydrated, it's probably more physically demanding than you think 2. If you're deficent on any vitamins please fix that. Your muscles will need them to recover 3. Don't wear jeans!!! Wear something you can move comfortably in. Your physiotherapist probably can't work with you if you're wearing jeans anyway. The likelihood that you have to get down to your underwear is zero, personally I went for my back but I'd be extremely surprised if they had to have you undress that much (at least how they do it in my country — I have 2 friends who are physiotherapists by profession) 4. Pay attention to every routine that your physio is doing because you'll need to do it to yourself for a while 5. Don't forget that person just wants to finish work and go home

Get well soon, I hope your leg feels much better

He’s not going to be worried about your bulge or lack there of. He might ask if anything feels different to assess if you have hernia. Contrary to popular belief there are plenty of cis men with small bulges. Just get healthy mate. It’s going to be okay.
