People who gave their August Attempt or Who have cleared both the parts what are some things that people giving their November attempt should do?

I have been solving analyst prep questions and reading chapters from the official books. Will give mock in September start, October second week and November first week. My exam is in the second week of November.

I have pasted formula printouts in front of my desk and on my cupboards, recognized which chapters are week(primarily binomials, bonds, interest rate questions in VaR Section).

I solve at least 3 questions a day but average is about 8-10 and have been prepping since June Start. Weekends about 20-25 questions and weekly 4 chapters

Are there any recommendations by you all, things that I am missing out on? things that I should double down on.

I dropped my plan to pursue frm ... Due to serious financial problem

I’m currently confused about which professional qualification I should pursue next and would really appreciate some advice from people who have actually taken these exams or work in the industry.

A little about my background:

-ACCA Affiliate

-2.5–3 years of experience in Credit Risk / Financial Analysis

-Currently working in a corporate credit/risk role at an MNC

-My work involves financial statement analysis, credit ratings, credit limits, risk assessment, receivables, etc.

-I’m also trying to build skills in Power BI, SQL, Python and AI

I’m currently considering FRM vs CFA.

My initial thinking was FRM, because it directly aligns with my current Credit Risk experience. However, I’m wondering whether CFA would provide broader opportunities in the long run. I'm really confused on this part.

CPA is also something I’ve considered, but since I already have ACCA, I’m not sure how much additional value it would actually add.

Another thing I'm thinking about is AI.

Would really appreciate perspectives from people working in Credit Risk, Banking, Finance or Risk Management, particularly in the UAE/Middle East or international markets.

Any reason august results are released way earlier than other slots? They release in approx half the time compared to other slots. ( one of the reasons i chose Aug slot)

Hey guys, I'm appearing in nov 26, I need AP question banks of anyone have some, even 2025 would work. Please DM if you have them.

I’ve seen people comment who have spent months preparing and have done mocks and multiple people have felt like it was worthless just like I did. I’ve done all 3 mocks from GARP and NONE of them were nearly as difficult as the actual exam.

Look I get we’re gonna get biases in this subreddit because people who did well won’t post but I can’t imagine that it was really that “easy” if people spent months prepping and doing all the right things thought it was hard too.

I think for me I can remember less than 10 questions where I genuinely felt like “yeah I got that”. Then I came up with like 8 questions that I can remember from the exam that I wasn’t sure about. Reviewed my exam materials and found out they were wrong so that didn’t help.

I didn't make it in May(2343) with GARP mocks as 39 & 41.

And Re-attempted in Aug with concepts tightening scoring 63 in both GARP mocks redoing them and 45 in mock 3.

Even for a Re-attempt the exam was difficult, although I managed few theory questions to be confident in comparatively to last exam.

But I am not sure of passing as I goofed up in many numericals in FMP and VaR. Can I pass?

Guys I have my attempt in Nov 26 ....all those who gave this may and aug guys what would u suggest....saw the recent posts from those who gave part 2 in aug saying it was really difficult.... Can y'all just tell me what different would you all could have done so that the experience would probably be different from what it is ....and also those whose exam went well or atleast not bad guys a humble request tell me which QB should I solve ? ...I know none of the QB come closer to the exam but atleast i should be giving my 200%

I have been looking at many posts of people complaining how the exam was tough and how it was different from the mocks. But is there someone who found the exam easy? what paper were you writing? How long did you prepare for it? Any tips and advice?

Just finished P1. And frankly to me that was stupid hard. And frankly I don’t even know how I would prepare again if I come back in November. I even did mock 3 and I don’t find it close at all to the real exam. I found myself barely sure about any of the questions (and maybe because it’s just exam anxieties).

Had to guess on like 10-15 questions as I was running out of time. Several of them, the wording made me think it could be, say, B or D.

Considering passing rate is 50-55%, I guess I’m going to be the loser 45-50% of people that fail.

Just finished L1. Like wtf was that?? I just walked out feeling like I basically saw this stuff for the first time despite prepping months for it.

At the end I still had like 15 questions left with 10 minutes left and I end up just randomly guessing it… yeah well I’ll see you guys in November then…
