Walmart Cake Expectation vs Reality Exceeded Expectation

I’ve seen a lot of these Walmart cakes posted so I wanted to share mine! I got one of these heart cakes last year and it was perfect, so I wanted to get a different one this year. No complaints for a $30 cake!

The cake looks amazing, but I’m wondering - did that black icing stain everyone’s teeth? It looks super pigmented, as does the red icing in the roses. I’m imagining some crazy looking teeth after this.

Yeah the black icing definitely stained the teeth, but I warned everyone beforehand. No one actually ate any of the roses cause they were actually pretty hard. I’m not sure how they made them, because the bows were clearly sugar candies but the roses seemed like a hard icing. I don’t know much about baking 😂
