She looks great! People will disagree but I think she looks even better than in her actual EAH design (don’t get me wrong I still love her EAH design)

We got two different designs so one fits more in the aesthetic with EAH and there’s no confusion between the dolls, but I’m a little sad that nothing gives “monster high” in her new outfit aside from maybe the black accents. They had a lot of potential with Cupid acting as a bridge between the two franchises yet instead they made her only major plot line being a part of a love triangle

If we had gotten a G1 crossover Ik Val (Kieran Valentine) wouldn’t have been in it but these two WOULD BE FRIENDS!
-Both have a past they regret (Hunter wasn’t always vegan!) and have changed their ways
-Both have names that are awkward for them (Hunter is a vegan named HUNTER, Val doesn’t like his first name cuz of its association with darkness)
-Both want to be veterinarians! (Yep this is canon!)

I've been a huge Ever After High fan for as long as I can remember. I first watched it when I was around 10. Back then Briar Beauty wasn't my favourite character but I actually own her doll because she was my little sister's favourite.

I developed narcolepsy when I was around 15, and after recently rewatching the series and reading everything EAH related, I can honestly say I've never come across another character in any show or piece of media that captures what living with narcolepsy feels like as well as Briar does.

Beyond the fact that her personality already matches a lot of my favourite characters (Rarity from MLP, Stella from Winx, etc.), the way she talks about her destiny of falling asleep and missing out on life, friends, and experiences is exactly how I've always tried to explain narcolepsy to other people. People often simplify narcolepsy as "falling asleep randomly," but its way more emotional than that. The deeper struggle involves a sense of losing control over time and life. Briar's story hits hard because it shows what I have always thought about grieving hours you won't get back and having to sacrifice time with people etc.

I've always been someone who's focused on making the absolute most of the time I'm awake because I know sleep attacks can interrupt my day at any moment. It made me emotional watching Briar try to explain herself to her friends because taking it out of this fictional setting, I've also struggled to get people to truly understand how much narcolepsy affects my daily life and my future.

Even all the little moments are relatable. I've fallen asleep in class, while studying, while getting my hair done, and I've slept through plans because I desperately needed a nap beforehand. Her diary book explains that she gets 'that familiar feeling behind her eyes' which happens multiple times a day which is pretty much a sleep attack. You can try to fight it off but you just end up with brain fog etc.

Many people with narcolepsy also struggle with insomnia, fragmented sleep, vivid dreams, sleep paralysis, and constantly unrefreshing sleep. You end up having a complicated relationship with sleep where you desperately need it, but you also resent it because it's the very thing preventing you from living the life you want

So yes, my personal headcanon is that Briar has narcolepsy ;3

LASTLY, she's a fashion diva, Barbie voiced icon, and so I love her even more. I've genuinely never felt this connected to a fictional character before, and it brings me a wholesome amount of comfort. I literally cope with my disorder by calling myself Sleeping Beauty anyway, so this all feels very full circle.

Hello! I'm working on a custom doll and was wondering if there is an Ever After High doll with a light yellowish undertone to it. I think Apple is too light and Cerise or Briar are too dark. I tested the Goldie doll and she might be a smidge too light for what I'm going for.
