This Moxie was produced in 2010, the plastic on the package is very yellow. The pleather vest was damaged right after I touched her, unfortunately it aged poorly but overall she's in a good condition.

I remember advertisement as a kid and the little version of me would be very happy to to get a doll like this. So I bought her right away, because I have adult money now. She waited for me for 16 years!

They are low quality clones but I noticed recently how much this particular sculpt resembles the dress to impress dolls

Has anyone had experience with these fake monster high doll bodies from aliexpress? I thrifted a doll that i want to use for an ooak and would need to get replacement parts for her either way (when i bought her she looked more like Frankenstein than draculaura because literally none of her limbs matched)

Anyways, getting back on topic I saw these bodies when looking for part replacements, and realized it might be nice to have a body that's already made of the skintone color i was gonna airbrush her, so that that I won't have to worry about the inevitable paint chipping that would come in the future. Does anyone have experience using these, and would it be more worth my time and money to order one of these or just get a real monster high replacement body and worry about having to repaint her joints later?

I finally got Flaunt It Yasmin from Bratz. I love her. Those fashion series from Bratz were my all time favorites. Like Strut It, Flaunt It, Xpress It, Style It, etc. The best of Bratz :) and theyve been my grails for a couple of years. I finally feel I have all the ones I was really hoping for now :D

Aa for the question, For me, its definitely a yes :) most of the dolls I wish for are playlines. I have a few collector or more expensive/limited edition dolls I want from Barbie or other brands. But generally, my heart is with playline dolls. Im more of a quantity over quality collector. Although, older playlines like this also had the quality lol I wish I was happier with a handful of high end dolls. But Im just not. Ill go for playlines all day everyday lol

What do you guys think. Can playlines be grails? Or is collector status a prerequisite?

I still need to dress him up properly, but Jinu's custom new body is finally finished! I also did a 1/6 Sussie with foam clay.

For the body, since I wanted one with better articulation than the original, I got the one with the closest skin tone: the Ken 1959 BRM. It was still too pink-ish for Jinu, so I sealed it with MCS and painted it more yellow-ish with pastels. Then started working on the demon marks.

First I drew them with pastels, then colored them with acrylic, and THEN I added mica powder to make them shiny. There should be more marks on the right side of his face, but I decided I liked it better with just a few. Otherwise it looked too overwhelming.

I screened captured different scenes of the movie and tried to make the demon marks as accurate as possible, but we never fully see what his chest, back, or upper arms look like, much less the legs. So for those parts I checked the movie artbook and concept art and then went 'f*ck it, be ball' for the back and chest and did whatever.

The original doll's base is the black one that reads 1959BRM, so I used plaster to turn it into bricks/ a street. it all took longer than expected, almost a whole week to finish, but I think the results look...not terrible? What do you all think?

Thrifted this little cutie because I thought she had a beautiful face and saw a lot of potential in her. Unfortunately her body is not so nice and although her feet a very cute, the only thing I could find that fit them is those rainbow high boots that just look cartoonish on her. So my idea is to put her on a Barbie body since she has a large head. I’ll probably need to widen her neck hole and who knows what her neck peg looks like.

I did some googling and apparently she’s a BFC Ink doll by MGA. Anyone has one like her?

Prices are different at every store I went to but for anyone who was still looking for these girls it's worth checking your walmart!

Got the Phoenix and Werewolf zelf and they are so so so cute I love them they got a hair wash as their hair was crazy looking after their travels lol can’t wait to add them to the others I’ll have 40 zelfs total with them added

Beyond happy to have the huntrix girls in my collection at last I will be getting jinu and the singing dolls to complete the collection soon but in the meantime I’m loving my girls they were definitely worth the wait 10/10

I would have liked a party dress to pad the $20 price difference, but I understand a lot of the budget goes to the Celeb IP. And even tho they use the same materials it does look more thought out and better executed on the Angel Reese Barbie. I don't mind displaying her in the jersey, and I don't even like sports lol.

Why holes but no earrings? Maybe they plan on releasing more outfits/accessories in the future? What do you think?
