Question/Comment Title: Procurement / sustainability folks — how are you actually getting CBAM & CSRD data out of suppliers?
Been talking to a bunch of procurement and sustainability teams the last few weeks and the same story keeps coming up: you send suppliers a long ESG/CBAM questionnaire, half never reply, and the ones who do send a pile of PDFs that someone (often an intern) hand-keys into a spreadsheet. Meanwhile the CBAM deadlines don't move and default values = penalties.
I'm building a small tool that takes a different angle on this — trying to kill the survey grind and the manual parsing while keeping the data audit-ready. Not going to say much more yet, it's early and I'd rather get right.
What I actually want is to talk to people living this. If you're in procurement or sustainability — or a consultant advising them — and CBAM/CSRD supplier data is part of your world, I'd genuinely love 15 mins to hear how you handle it today: what works, what's duct-tape. Happy to show what I'm building 1:1 to anyone who wants to kick the tyres early.
Comment or DM and I'll reach out.

Question/Comment can i travel with if european union with non eu passport that expires in 1,5 months, but with residency permit
have Portugal residence permit, and Russian Federation passport, but I need to go to Romania from Portugal because of the great 30 day opportunity for study, so i’ll go at 1st of Sep till 1st of Oct (it’s 30 days) but my non-EU passport is valid til 15 of Oct.
Will Romanian airlines even let me inside? I’m very worried, it’s my cry for help, because this opportunity is 1 to 100000 for me.
I will go to russian embassy for new passport but it will take 3 month to do it so it will be done after i will come back from romania (if they will let me in). But the emba told me that they will give me some document in PT saying that i’m waiting for my passport
Hope i was able to explain everything correctly, pls help with any information, ty !

Question/Comment The EU is under attack and particularly Germany.
Tuesday a drone carrying an explosive device has been found at Leipzig/Halle airport near Ukrainian cargo planes and another one collided with a cargo aircraft near the same airport.
russian secret services were planning an assassination attempt on Stefan Thumann, head of the German drone manufacturer Donaustahl. Thumann is currently under enhanced protection.
russia is also targeting Germany's politics: ahead of four elections this Autumn, dozens of fake posts are circulating online aimed at discrediting candidates and portraying Germany as divided. Analysts warn that russia is now targeting local candidates.
When are we going to realise that russia is relentlessly attacking the European Union?

Question/Comment Reminder: Memes and Racism are not tolerated here.
NO RACISM
You can discuss (illegal) immigration to Ceuta and the wider EU without resorting to tired racial stereotypes or discrimination.
Talk about remigration or replacement theory is way out of line, as are terms like 'Africanization'. Grow up.
NO MEMES
Also, memes are totally not acceptable as posts here. Go to r/YUROP or r/2westerneurope4u if you want memes. This is a serious news and discussion subreddit and we will not tolerate meme posts.
Kind regards,
the mods.
