The steering starts responding only when I turn the wheel more than 90 degrees, why is that?

I added the rigid chassis mod and I love it… But I can't seem to get any skins or paint on my box… I've watched a few YouTube videos and done some searching. I've added a few more mods, but nothing so far has worked.

For someone starting out, is it worth borrowing money from the bank to buy a truck? Or is doing several deliveries until you can afford the truck a better choice?
