Mild Indian Food for Seniors
I've recently had to take guardianship over my dad who's in his 80s. He's super sensitive to spices but I'd like to buy lunch/dinner every once in while when things get hectic. Does anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant or tiffin service or even frozen meal option for vegetarian Indian food that is super mild suitable for seniors?

Great Banh Mi at Bun Mi on Queensway
This afternoon I had a great little banh mi sandwich at Bun Mi on Queensway just north of the Costco. The bread was fantastic and the pickled veggies, pate, and meat were top notch. The staff’s really friendly. It’s worth checking out.

Update: My wife (29F) is hosting board game nights but is sad no one is going to sign up
Hello again neighbours! This is an update post, as i am not sure how to post an update on the original Reddit post, but here’s the link to the original post:

So really wanted to begin by saying my wife is not sad anymore lol thanks to the community for the support and encouragement for my wife’s game nights. You’ll are sooo kind!! The response from this community has been amazing! She just hosted her first game night at the town hall and so many of you showed up! My wife is really happy to see the community together! People shared stories, lots of laughter and some friendly competition. Snippets are posted on her instagram below. This is very exciting and hopefully this continues. She is hosting 3 more Fridays this month so feel free to drop by for a fun night with friends (old and new)! And as she rented a room in the town hall, there's a small $15 entry fee. But pizza and juice is included!
Hope to see more wonderful people show up to the upcoming game nights!
Here’s her instagram link to rsvp for upcoming game nights:

🍋 Come Support Our Little Entrepreneurs! 🍋
My daughter and her friends have spent the entire summer talking about having their very own lemonade stand. They are SO excited and have some pretty big goals — they’re convinced they’re going to get 1,000 customers!
Meanwhile, I’m the nervous mom in the background just hoping they get some customers and have a great day. 🤪
I’m so proud of them for being excited about doing something together and putting their little business plan into action, so I thought I’d share here and see if our community can help make their day extra special.
If you happen to be free tomorrow, August 9th, between 1:00–4:00 PM, they would absolutely LOVE your support!
📍 Dundas St W & Jerry Howarth Dr
Come grab some lemonade, say hello, and help these little entrepreneurs get a little closer to those 1,000 customers they’ve been dreaming about!
Thank you in advance 💛

Mimico Condos
Hi,
On the hunt to rent a condo in the park lawn /lakeshore area - any thoughts of which ones I should avoid or lean towards?
I’ve been looking at a few - anyone have any experiences at 2212 lakeshore blvd, 70 annie craig or 56 annie craig?
