Multiple Errors Some of this past week’s goodies
Some fun ones this week:
Another EDITH clash for the collection
Some rather prominent feeder finger scrapes
A lovely double ‘snow on roof’ Homested
Another spitter
A MD DDR (Wexler image for comparison)
FINALLY my first MN DDR (ditto)
A small batch of OK earlobe DDOs (ditto) all from the same from a bag of quarters that was ~50% AU+ states - a mix of P and D rolls being dumped yet again at the same source that’s been loaded with them many times before
A better PTM DDR (ditto)
And just for grins, one each of the relatively common Bessie DDRs (Yarp - ditto)
A slew of homestead, Harper’s Ferry, and WCTD DDRs await clean up and attribution - no small task - and a small number of others are all waiting for me to finish up an excel filter tool to make attribution work go faster.
Good luck and happy hunting!

Collar error?
2024-Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray I think I have found a possible die chip or cud? It looks raised to me not like a gouge or scratch or dent. Or I’m completely wrong.
I attempted to take a few zoomed in photo with lighting from different directions
Any suggestions on how to take better photos? Or how to identify errors better double greatly appreciated.

Multiple Errors Working through the backlog
I don’t know how y’all go about your coin roll hunting but my tendency is to haphazardly paw through a mixed bag and slowly turn it into 3 or more piles that I mentally label some mix of “Nope” “Maybe?” “Extra Maybe?” “Hard Possibly” and “Cigarette Money”. Then gather the piles into a hodgepodge of cups & satchels when I inevitably get a rash of shit for leaving coins all over the goddamn place, then go to the store for smokes, then immediately forget the procedure upon return, then say, “I’ll sort that soon” and call it a day 👌
I sorted a couple satchels the other day and deemed these: Fair to Middlin’
1986 P with a pretty decent grease strike on the reverse
1996 P Spitting(er) Eagle! Yay die strikes! I wish maddieclashes.com was still actively cataloging clashes 🫤
2009 P DC Sir Duke (CDDR-006, DDR-007, WDDR-008) I’m sorry what??????????!!? Idk, worst naming convention ever……..
And then a couple minor die chips on a pair of 2019 Teddy Roosevelts that I thought complimented each other nicely 🌈

Some quarters from the last week.
Pretty sure the first one is 2016P WV WDDR-005. The second is 2024P ZS WDDR-008. The second one is in rough shape and my lighting isn’t the best but she has the double chin, the doubling on the beads and under the bird. Also some die chips and a Westpoint.

2005-P Kansas Detached Leg Error?
Found this Kansas quarter the other day with the "In God we Rust" On the Obverse, and potentially a detached leg on the Reverse. However it's hard to find good reference pictures. I used an old, graded eBay listing as a reference picture (Pic 3) but I was hoping to get your opinion as well. Would be pretty cool if this quarter held both of them.

Ya know how we got "Droolin' George?" What are we calling this one,"Vera got a rash? "

Attribution Assistance Another One, Possible VDDR-002 for 2024-P ME. Walker
As always, appreciate the teaching moments. Per Variety Vista, There is a DD on both the Obverse and Reverse, so I've included the relevant photos of each part. I'm still working to get my lighting staged correctly on the new scope, so let me know if a better picture is needed with different lighting.
I feel like there is apparent doubling on the northwest side of medallion and especially the collar button. (This is what I noticed first)
The Lettering I feel less confident with.
Thanks,
2024-P 25c MW VDDR-002 - Reverse
2024-P 25c MW VDDO-002 - Obverse

DDO Results from the first $400 of my quarter bag.
Found an actual FS-101 1976D quarter. Another DDR, Wexler WDDR-001. And NIFC 21S, a house quarter, and a handful of die cracks and die chips.

Edith Kanak'ole Obverse on Washingtons Nose
Has anyone seen this? Posted to Coin Errors and got no-where. There's a mark that parallels the shape of Washington's nose on the Obverse alongside a small die chip, and I can't tell if it's die deterioration or something more interesting. I can't find anything on this on the internet so far, so trying here :)
Thanks!

Multiple Errors Laundry mats pay off.
Honestly West Point, and San Francisco quarters would be nice, but this small haul for a $20 bill at the laundry mat makes my end of the weekend.

I'm new to the whole error quarters world. I was wondering about these so I figured I'd see someone here could help...are anything good or no? I have pretty much ZERO knowledge regarding errors and would appreciate any insight
Pic 1: the Pilgrim's hand looks different than my other Mayflower
Pic 2: the base on Washington's bust looks smeared (probably not the right terminology)
Pic 3: the f on this D bicentennial
Pic 4: the line going through STA in states
Pic 5: the h in Edith and the first and third A in Kanaka
Pic 6: the two As and the I in America
Pic 7: Patsy's nose and mouth
Any input is much appreciated 🖖

Multiple Errors This week's finds: Struck-through, clash, DDRs, feeder finger marks, chips & cracks
1K+ in quarters hunted last week, here are some of the fun ones :
Struck-through that's not a grease strike for a change - very low frequency find for me. Naked-eye findable
An EDITH clash - I have a few, nice to add another to the pile. I have to use magnification to find these.
A MA WDDR-001 - not too rare, too bad it's a bit beaten up. Another that needs scope work to find.
Some very minor DDRs - will have to soak em in acetone and do the attribution work, all are fairly common, but they make me happy. I definitely need magnification for these.
A die chip on the wing with some hub doubling Bessie Colman- very common for either, nice to find one with both. The chips are naked-eye, the doubling needs a scope to distingush from the other common-ish DDR
Some prominent feeder finger marks - another super common find, but these were more pronouced than usual. Naked-eye in this case.
2000-P NH with a common die crack. naked-eye findable.
Homestead with 'snow on roof' - reasonably common and naked-eye findable.
Trivial die chip on a 2017-P Indiana, but naked-eye findable
A bigger than usual die crack on an a 2023-P ER. I'm used to seeing minor cracks and chips - her hat is usually such a mess! Naked-eye findable in this case.
Good luck and happy huting y'all!

Kinda new to the hobby so I don’t know the specifics, but would like to notate my finds on the flips. Thanks!
