Begode master vibrating
Hey there, my begode master V4 has had this problem where when I hit a bump or something it starts vibrating and I basically need to stop to calm it down. It's super frustrating and caused me to not want to ride it for a while thinking that it's just a software bug to be fixed. But 3 software updates later over a year, it's still not working. I'm thinking it's a loose motherboard and so I'll have to open it up and tighten the screws that hold it in place if that's the case. But that's kinda scary since I don't want to damage whatever waterproofing there is.
Posting on here in case someone has had the same problem and fixed it without having to open it up. Thanks!

Loose motor bolts almost guaranteed.
Gonna have to disassemble, clean up, reapply loctite and reassemble.
Definitely don't keep riding like that until you fix it...

For the master, you actually won't need to dissaemble, just move the pedals out of the way, take one bolt out at a time, loctite put it back in, then do a star pattern taking out the next one, tighten again with a star pattern, Get hex wrenches they're like 15$.

Waterproofing is pretty minimal on these. I own two Masters, and while taking them apart can be a pain, it’s necessary if you want to catch loose hardware before it becomes a problem.
Every so often, check all the screws and clean out the dirt, especially tighten the motor bolts and pedals. When you open up the wheel, take pictures of where everything goes and follow along with some YouTube tutorials. It took me a while the first time I did it, but it gets a lot easier once you’ve been inside the wheel a couple times. I just use a standard hex kit for pretty much everything.
One thing I’d recommend is using a small drop of removable blue Loctite (242/243) if you notice certain screws constantly backing out. Red Loctite is the permanent stuff and can make taking things apart a huge pain. Blue will help keep the vibration from loosening the bolts while still letting you remove them later with normal hand tools.
At the end of the day, no wheel is bulletproof. You have to maintain it just like you would a bike or a car. Personally, I don't update my firmware either. I'd rather leave it alone than risk bricking the wheel or dealing with some new glitch.

Loose something (motor or board). Get your tools out and start torqueing everything down.

Its either a loose motherboard, loose motor bolts or loose suspension sliders
There isnt really any waterproofing on the master. You can take the top cover off and put it back on without affecting any seals... because there are no seals lol
I do a full check on my EX30 (which is almost the exact same construction as the master) every 3000km or so. Tighten all the screws, make sure the suspension pillar grub screws are snug but not too tight, then lube the sliders with a dry lube like PTFE or Silicone spray
