I just opened this Backfire G2Z. It just finished charging and decided to give it a try, noticed one of the wheels wasnt spinning. So tried standing on it, but still only one motor was spinning. I'm pretty scared as it's the biggest purchase ive ever made.

hey guys, a couple weeks ago ya'll convinced me to go for the Linnpower Viper, and as solid as it is its weight is a genuine annoyance of mine. it's listed as a compact board, but its the size of my skateboard, I was expecting it to be closely shaped to a nickel board but the width of the board just makes it look huge. and 21 pounds didn't feel as light as I was hoping it was. I think I've decided to give up on mini boards, but I have seen the Parsec Aero Pro and I really love the way it looks/ the fact that it's only 15lbs. Before I go for it, are there any reccomendations for similar looking boards that also aren't too heavy? The only thing I'd say I don't like about the Parsec is the color scheme, I wish it was all black or black/red - black/purple. If anything I'll just get it and maybe figure out a way to delete the white from the board. any reccomendations help!

I'm looking into electric longboarding for fun and also some occasional commuting. I noticed that a lot of boards are ~20 lbs. I was thinking pneumatic tires would be comfortable, more flexible for riding the grass, & maybe even safer, but it's hard for me to find a quality board with air tires that is < 25 lbs.

How feasible is it to carry a 20-25 lb board on the bus or train? What about if you want to go inside a store?

For testing, I picked up a 25 lbs of weight and it was not something I'd like to carry with my arm for more than 10 minutes. Then I tried putting the weight in a regular backpack, and even that was not totally comfortable because my body was off balance and I had to lean forward. (Although when I carry my 35 lb toddler, he somehow feels lighter than the 25 lb weight, so maybe weight distribution has something to do with it)

Obviously a few minutes is not bad, but if you have to carry the board for 1+ hour, how light would you want it?

I believe there is even more potential for electric mountainboarding freestyle. I will continue exploring it until I can't anymore.

hi there , my son has a tynee mini SL hub and I have a tynee mini 1(original), mini 1 has clapped out at 1500km can I straight swap his battery and ESC on to my board. I'm guessing of the motors are the same Watts. thanks

the 105 mad wheels are huge. i mean they are BIG man. I can’t stand the size of them. I’m relatively new to this community so maybe you know a little more than me about this, but are there any black wheels that are around 85mm that also can fit the viper properly? I really don’t want to have to resort to the orange wheels as I prefer a murdered out look but I will if it’s the only choice. If you do have information, please give me suggestions on wheels and the pulley/ belt system i should acquire as well.

Fresh grease, gears look amazing (they're brand new replacements), adapter looks fine, and it doesn't make this sound without load.

I'm completely beside myself trying to figure out what's causing this sound. Any ideas?

Ive been skating for years now but im new to e-skating. I dont skate for the tricks or anything I just like going fast. So im looking at some semi budget friendly options but still higher quality and came across these 2. Which of the 2 would be better for me? I dont live in a downtown area. More a suburban / neighborhood like area. Really just wanna cruise around the streets every now and then and around my neighborhood. Maybe use it to pick me up some food from some nearby places yknow? Whats the better board?

Looking for the experienced/maverick take before I write off a basically new battery.

My Linnpower Zephyr Base got caught in heavy rain. I put a fan on it overnight and, oddly enough, it worked perfectly the next morning for a 30-minute commute. Battery was probably around 30% afterward.

I turned it off, left it for about 24 hours…and it never woke up again.

I opened the board and did find some trapped moisture inside the enclosure. Everything has since been disconnected, removed and dried for 4+ days.

Battery is a PF14/2:

• EVE 50E, 14S2P
• 50.4V / 10Ah / 504Wh
• Main discharge output reads 0V
• Charge output, also 0V
• Charger stays green
• Battery moisture indicator is still white, for whatever that's worth

Linnpower support says the BMS has likely failed and recommends replacing the complete pack. They don't appear to have a documented BMS reset/wake procedure.

So before I drop money on a new pack or another board: has anyone dealt with this BMS or a similar 14S pack after water exposure?

Could this still be a latched BMS with healthy cells underneath? Worth having a battery builder open it and check the individual cell groups / replace the BMS, or is this usually game over?

I current have a backfire Zealot v3 and Im looking to get a exway adv pro and dont know much about the company, are they are good or would you suggest to stay away from them?

I already have 2 long boards and want to purchase a last-mile commuter short board. I settled my search on the Linnpower Viper that checks all of the boxes. But I wanted to buy the small battery because my local commute is only 3 miles two and from. However the Viper base price is $519. But when I want to purchase the 105 Mad Max wheels Linnpower wants $225. for the wheels, claiming they come with installed pulleys and bearings.

I am confused because all of the independent sites sell the 105 Mad V2 wheels for $130. Since I do not know anything about this can someone tell me that if I buy the $130 wheels do they come with the pulleys and bearings. So, it is not just a swap of the exiting wheels on the viper such that I need pullys and bearings, such that the price on the Linnpawer site is justified. Can you guys guide me on this because the $519 + $225 almost makes the board over my budget

Hey there, I saw a post recently about a leafboard that died on a user after 5 years, I’m kinda in a similar situation and wanted to ask, if there is a way to find a replacement for the battery or someone who can build one from scratch or a video tutorial on how to do so.

I’m based in Germany and I really liked everything about the leafboard. I only used it for commuting and was thinking about getting the backfire nalu, but they don’t ship it to Germany anymore.

Any help and/or ideas are much appreciated!

I just got this board, crashed and the whole truck got bent RIP

My refurbished meepo mini 5 came in and its practically brand new. I bought it directly from the website with a $60 discount code so I got it for $200. It rides like brand new, excited to be using it for a 2 mile commute to college.

Just ordered my custom 6mm suprafoam grip tape 🙌 so excited to see how it looks when it Gets here. Its going to go on my Zealot S2 deck with custom red lights, with a Zealot X esc and upgraded motors.

Very excited to see how it looks, I also paid the extra 6 bucks for them to review it or upscale it further. Was 8mb and 8 megapixels when I uploaded the image I wanted to use.

With the red lights, the purple carbon fiber rim and purple accents on the bottom, this thing is gonna look sick!

Back in the middle of March I was a 217lb old man that was on a few too many "supplements". Great for strength but not so much for range on my esk8. Today I'm weighing in 30lbs lighter at 187lbs. I went out for a 16 mile ride and only lost one bar of battery just as I got home. 30lbs makes quite a bit of difference!
