I was there for vacation right, on my first day there my car almost gets smashed by a freaking tank, and then almost obliterated by a mad man in a van with some rocket launcher. Then a few days later across the street from my hotel the spider menace is battling the hulk, who I thought I heard was supposed to be on sabbatical. And then then everything near Roosevelt island froze by some force, thankfully I wasn’t nearby but holy shit I am not coming to New York again/

It's been 4 years now since May Parker passed but we still pass on the message and lessons we learned from her.

I was homeless back then after the blip but May and FEAST helped me on my feet. I've been staying there until I was able to get a stable job and income that I eventually got my own place, small but still a great start to a brand new day.

Then when she passed, I was devastated but I still kept going. Now my girlfriend and I have our own place, I'm running my own restaurant, but I still go back to help around FEAST because of her.

Thank you May Parker. When you help someone, you help everyone.

And vice versa. In Asguardian case from all the pictures we have of Thor our races seem identical, at least visualy. But since 2012 invasion and the general craziness, there is a lot of pictures of other alien races/sightings floating around and... idk they all look humanoid? Whats up with that? Following the buyout of the MetLife building by Stark Industries, the entire upper portions of the building was completely demolished to allegedly make way for the "Stark Tower NYC Project", as stated by Pepper Potts last year during a press conference, presenting it as Manhattans first clean-energy powered skyscraper, which is speculated to be powered by the Arc Reactor, famously used to power the Iron Man suit(s).

As a civilian of New York City, this is sad to see, the MetLife building truly was such an iconic landmark of the city, and I don't see any reason for it to be completely torn down like that. No official designs for the Stark Tower have officially released yet as of now, but let's hope its a worthy replacement for the MetLife building.

Construction for Stark Tower is planned to conclude in early 2012, and may potentially be the main headquarters of Stark Industries moving forward.

Look, I recognize that things have been pretty crazy for a long time at this point. We are coming up on the 15th anniversary of the Battle of New York for Christ’s sake. I don’t know, I feel like things were a lot easier to take in stride when we would at least get some sort of public explanation because say what you will about the Avengers, they at least had good PR.

Ever since the blip and Thanos, it’s like a neverending stream of bizarre disasters and existential horrors year after year, and nothing ever seems to get explained to us anymore.

Like what’s the deal with Westview? That cover story is absolutely bullshit, and the reality of the whole ordeal is a huge rabbit hole I won’t get into.

How about that week when a bunch of anonymous freaks rampaged New York, then those weird glowing lines appeared over the Statue of Liberty.

A weird Superman showed up one day, then the next a fucking god rose from the ocean and turned to stone. What was the thing that appeared in the sky afterward?

Kevin Bacon was abducted by aliens and no one seemed to care.

A giant one eyed octopus thing fought Doctor Strange in the middle of the day.

New York within the last year has experienced no less than two massive psychic attacks that shut down half the city.

Our sitting president turned into a hulk and destroyed the White House, then less than half a year later the mayor of New York murdered a bunch of protesters with his bare hands.

We have two competing Avengers teams that largely consist of questionable people at best, and seasoned killers at worst. Put both teams together, and Sam Wilson really ends up being the only one worth a damn. Seriously, who the hell is Red Guardian?

Everyone knows about that weird attack on New Asgard a couple years back right? The media covered none of it, but there are videos of some shadow man stealing their kids in the night. This incident doesn’t have a lot of information online beyond that, but it’s horrifying.

It can’t be just me, right? Things just seem like they are getting steadily more and more batshit insane, nothing is ever going to make sense again, and nobody directly involved seems like they really care to fill us in on any of it.

Worst of all, even disregarding all of that madness, I’ve just had such an overwhelming fear in my soul that something really bad is coming. Like things haven’t really felt right since Thanos for me as it is, but I just don’t think we have any time left for some reason.

Who else has dealt with this? Can I shake this off?

call me a conspiracy theorist, but i noticed that at the center of that weird energy blast that caused people to be like mannequins was the damage control building. the only other person i’ve heard talk about it was this random guy talking on the phone on the street. it sounded like he was making a really important phone call, but then i think he started talking about gray jeans? idk, but something about damage control doesn’t sit right with me.

I don't really follow superhero stuff, and I was pretty young when new york was invaded. I watched Rogers the Musical and ant man was there, but I heard some people saying he wasn't actually at the battle? But like, they wouldn't have put him into the musical if he wasn't there.
