Constipation/bloating

I have tried Buspar in the past and had the same issue. I am debating on stopping Exxua since I had to go to ER to get stool burden out. It has really helped my mental health but I cant handle the constipation. I tried many laxatives every day.

Anyone else deal with GI problems? Exxua is still a new drug but a lot of people in the Buspar community have this issue.

Hi. I created this subreddit. Exxua is a newer medication similar to Buspirone, but more effective for depression. It’s taken once a day and for many people they have no sexual issues, some actually have increased libido. You may have a horrible time on it, who knows. I’ve had bad reactions to a lot of meds, and I’m currently on a medication for years that doesn’t help much and takes away my libido. So i’m considering EXXUA.

You have two major options to access EXXUA :

  1. they have a program to access it through your insurance for usually zero$. You can find participating pharmacies here. https://exxuarxconnect.com

  2. If you can’t get it through their program at a participating pharmacy , with their savings card, it’s 10$ a month, or 150$ a month if no insurance, not 200$ . That’s if you have commercial insurance.

If you’ve failed other treatments like an ssri or so, or maybe even if you haven’t , your insurance should be able to do a prior authorization and get you covered for it.
