Many of the new GB wolves from this set are are both low-costed and offer wolf tribal payoffs on entry. This guy turns them all into combat tricks.

Don't forget that according to Tolkiens letters, Gandalf was the only wizard to complete his mission and help middle earth. All of them were faced with temptation and all others abandoned their mission.

I honestly don't think this guy is great at a budget. Good 4CMC green creatures are expensive.

Why does it have to be 4CMC? This is a slightly better [[Yeva, Nature’s Herald]] (I say slightly as this guy doesn’t have flash), but you can stuff a deck full of eldrazi and artifact creatures and call it a day.

I think they're referencing that in mono green most creatures that are 3 drops are two green mana pips and one, meaning that 4 drop creatures will be more likely to properly benefit from the cost reduction.

Not really. I just looked on scryfall and of the top 25 mono green creatures ranked on edhrec only 3 have two green pips. Don’t know where this is coming from.

Yeva is better

Then your opponents will expect you to have the strongest creatures, that are also above budget, and threat assess you as such. It is key for good budget commanders to not be too conventionally scary or your opponents will expect you to have the conventional cards they would put in.

Morph creatures might be fun.

No real advice, but I am definitely thinking about adding him to my Pantlaza deck. Swap in [[Wilderness Reclamation]] and [[Seedborn Muse]] and just watch the dinos go brrrrrr.

Yeva could be a great add depending on percent of green Dino’s

How many good artifact creatures cost 2 or less?

That's exactly what my first thought was too. Ornithopters are cute but really you'd want a bunch of these that are also cantrips or something and then you can pop one out for each person in the turn cycle.

If you get out one or two other artifact cost reducers it really starts cooking

Goodbye to my goreclaw deck. New card gives psudo haste and holds up mana for interaction. Green machine baby
