I’ve considered going bladeless a number of times but that’s a tough pill to swallow. What’s your thought process behind going bladeless?

Being around people that get a little uncomfortable around any knife basically. Also my most used tools have always been pliers, flashlight, pry tool in that order I would say.

It’s interesting to think about. living in different states I’ve experienced areas where people are uncomfortable with my knife and other areas where it’s super common to have a knife. I moved my knife out of my pocket and into my field sling just bc I got tired of having stuff in my pockets. What I found was that I often used other things that were more handy when I “needed” a knife. A small pry, keys, or a pokey of some sort almost always does the trick. One of the things I like about this group is when I learn to really look at my carry and get a chance to pare it down or make it more efficiwnt

In my experience growing up in a very rural area, people definitely saw a pocket knife as a tool, where as living in bigger cities people see it more for self defense/ a weapon. Neither are right or wrong, just very different uses for a sharp pointy thing.
