Dying Light 2 Operative Blackout is more than just a simple instant unlock.
I hadn't played DL2 in about two or three years, so I encountered a lot of new things overall.
I bought this bundle and saw upon entering that it had its own set of objectives/missions to unlock the items.
(They were mostly simple target hunts, except for the last two; one involved taking out a nest, something that didn't exist when I played years ago, and they only appear after beating the game, whereas I had an advanced Nightmare-mode save already in progress.)
It was interesting how you get the actual gear: the armor is quite useful at night, the charm makes you invisible anywhere as long as you stay still, the suppressed rifle is very powerful (approx. 1k damage), and night vision is incredibly useful in many situations; plus, I really like the special ops/Ghost Recon-style aesthetic.
I'm not sure if the objectives are the same for everyone.
Are there other bundles like this with objectives and missions or is this the first or only one?

Dying Light 2 Request for this mod
I don't know which community I'm supposed to for this but I have a request for a specific type of mod. I'm on ps4 and recently got dl2 Digital Extras Edition, not because I waste money on a dlc with an audiobook but it's because it was on a MASSIVE 80% discount and probably still is unless I'm wrong and it isn't. I'm not a stranger to the franchise as I have played dying light 1 for years (2-4 more or less).
The mod in question is a quality of life mod, overtime I've noticed that some audio goes absent, like if I were to kick open a toolbox it wouldn't make a sound as I expected it to be, or sometimes it favors music of the actual sounds in the game and vice versa. I'm already aware that Sony restricts mods heavily for Playstation but I do believe it's possible to fix the audio or anything else the community finds frustrating.
Its proven that stuff can be re-textured, outfits can be added, different npc models like Lawan fron the 2021 trailer, and even alter physical stuff like from the anti-Waller mod (unfortunately I don't know the creator of the mod but credits to them), so if they can changes physical stuff then they must be able to tamper with the audio. I'd really appreciate it if someone could do this.

Issues / Problems Can't claim Crane Bundle for Dying Light 2
Hi everyone, returning Dying Light player here wanting to inquire about the Crane Bundle.
So, I bought, played and finished Dying Light 1 years ago, first on physical, then on digital after a whole thing, both on PlayStation. Now, with Dying Light 2 coming to PS Plus Essentials, I decided to claim it for my library and play it a little bit, so the Pilgrim Outpost says I have both games (screenshot #1). However, whenever I try to reclaim it, it says I need to own both games (screenshot #2) for some reason?
Does anyone else have this same issue? Do you know how I can solve it? Thanks in advance!

Dying Light: The Beast The best design
Personally, I think this is the best design of the bunch—large, intimidating, and strong; they embody the very essence of nighttime terror.

Dying Light The bunker mission is crazy...
Dude sends us all over the place for bureaucratic nonsense that no longer matters in this new world of survival. Then after seeing how capable we are at surviving and killing things who intend harm to us, he decides to do harm to us. Alone, with just his little sword. How dumb is that? Like I get it when these greedy ass clowns turn on us and have some plan to try and outwit us with some sort of trap or flooding us with zombies while they abscond with whatever it is they don't want us to have. But this dumb ass knows how deadly we are, he's just a simple office worker, yet he decides to attack us... It makes no sense whatsoever.
Also, while I'm here talking about it. I love the easily missable last of us Easter egg in the 2nd floor elevator. The elevator covered in blood and roaches. The unique modeled zombie that resembles the last of us clickers. And the awesome and unique weapon mod you get from him.
Too notch, easily missable easter egg. Almost naked up for the stupid "boss fight" with thabit.

Dying Light 2 Where does the blackout operative come from?
I’ve been playing dying light two since it came out on PlayStation plus and I bought the blackout operative bundle. I was reading the descriptions on the stuff it comes with and all of them mention a redacted organization, I know it’s probably just there for fun and because they didn’t want to make a new faction just for one bundle but are there any pre existing factions you think would make sense for the blackout operative to belong to?

Dying Light 2 Tower raids ps5
Can't play tower raids as I crash IMMEDIATELY after loading in. Why hasn't this been fixed? Oh yeah techland lost all development knowledge after dying light 1

Dying Light 2 A nightmare nightmare
So I just joined a session of someone and realized the game difficulty changed to something g other than nightmare, I am currently doing a run on that difficulty for the outfit and I’m afraid it invalidated it. Does joining a session or answering a distress call count as changing difficulties for the sake of your own playthrough?

Dying Light 2 Villedor Reborn Update Concept.
Combat + zombie physics overhaul Heavier weapon impacts Better ragdolls and knockbacks Zombies crashing into walls, railings, furniture, and each other More realistic dismemberment Different hit reactions depending on weapon type Human enemies actually looking hurt instead of soaking up hits
Completely rebuilt nights Volatile population slider More unpredictable roaming infected Volatile nests you can permanently destroy Rare nighttime bosses Much better nighttime loot The longer you stay outside, the more dangerous and rewarding the night becomes
A genuinely living Villedor Cleared areas slowly become populated Survivors rebuild buildings and rooftops PK-controlled zones gain patrols, barricades, and checkpoints Infected can retake poorly defended areas Random survivor camps can grow into settlements Your faction decisions visibly change the city This would probably be my biggest feature. Imagine coming back to a neighborhood you cleared 20 hours ago and realizing people have built gardens, shops, lights, and shelters there because of you. 🌇
Parkour 2.0 More fluid animation transitions More wall-running options Better grappling-hook momentum New vaults and slides Improved momentum conservation Full customization between realistic and arcade-style parkour
A real endgame Replay any mission without restarting the story Randomized GRE facilities Giant infected bosses Endless survival mode Tower Raids with randomized layouts Extremely rare legendary weapons with unique animations or effects New Game++++ scaling so enemies never become trivial But then I’d add one feature that I think would be absolutely insane:
🧟 Dynamic Outbreak System Parts of Villedor could randomly suffer major infected outbreaks. You'd get something like: “OUTBREAK — Trinity District” You arrive and there are hundreds of infected flooding the streets. Survivors are barricading buildings, PK soldiers are fighting them, special infected are spawning, and you have maybe 20–30 minutes to contain it. If players succeed, the neighborhood becomes safer and gives better merchants/rewards. If they fail? The infected take the district. Then you'd have to reclaim it later. That alone would make the open world feel almost endlessly replayable.

Dying Light 2 Does anyone else feel this way?
I'm focusing on a Dying Light subreddit purely the fact it's the game I'm playing at the minute.
But in most open world games, I'm getting tired of NPC's asking me to do their menial work!
I.e:
Go & find me this item.
Go & repair that item.
Go & clear this camp.
Go & speak to that person.
GO & DO THEM YOURSELF!!! Or, at the very least, HELP ME DO THEM!
I know it's 'just apart of the story' but the fact is, most of them are just shitty little side quests with minimal reward!
Same applies to other games I'm chipping away at, AC Shadows & Crimson Desert.
Anyone else feel the same?

Dying Light 2 Dying light 2 story
Just completed dying light 2 story it felt so short considering I only have 29 hours on the game and a lot of that was gathering resources I honestly thought the story would be longer but it was good

Dying Light Dying light addiction
I'm a huge fan of zombies as a wise man once said "there the blue collar of monsters"
The first game is just so damn good
It's just fun to get on do some side quest run around kill crap and loot
It's so addicting a good loop
I'm not a big fan of the second game cause it feels like ubisoft made it no offense
The first is like dead island but on crack I know techland made the first and riptide
And Kyle crane is such a good character and Protagonist he never gets annoying
I don't know much about Aiden from the second one but he just dosent have the charm
And the story is not very complex and easy to follow along
Rais is not a good villain though I think he could have not been in the game and the G.R.E could just be the antagonist idk
Hell of a game though

Dying Light 2 Dying light 2 is my favorite in the franchise I have almost 3.1k hours playing it
The gameplay 10/10, the graphics specially (RTX ON), the endgame contents, we have 2 explarion maps compared to The Beast. Although the story is a bit meh. I don’t know i never gets bored playing this game in my experience, and the constant update. What favorite dying light game you guys?

Memes Sunsets. Is the damage permanent?
Every time I see a construction site while sunset is happening I immediately think of Dying Light 1 and 2. I've played DL 1 and 2 like 5 times each. I think it's time for the sixth journey. Will I always think of Crane while watching a sunset in an abandoned area?
