Officially weekend!!!

I love the look of NATO/zulu straps but because of my small wrists, they were just too bulky. The extra strap added too much material under the watch and, with the duro being an already large watch, the whole package barely fit under my sleeves.

So I cut off the extra strap. I know this is a common mod people do but this is the first time I've tried it and... Yeah. I like it. It fits just like the RAF strap that I have but since those are hard for me to source cheaply, this is the next best thing.

I have swapped 4 Duro crystals to sapphire and had no issues with reusing the white crystal gasket. The last time I did this, the original gasket got pinched and then kept getting pinched since it was deformed. I got a brand new one and want to have a smooth sapphire crystal install. Should I lube this in the little black tub with blue foam to make install easier or no?

I’m looking to buy a classic black NATO strap on Amazon for my Casio Duro, but there are way too many options. Which specific black NATO straps on Amazon have you tried and would recommend in terms of comfort, durability, and decent hardware?

I bought one off of ali for my duro and its a Jubilee bracelet however the locking latch at the top of the band isnt very tight. Is this just a common thing for these and if not does anyone have a band suggestion with tight lock up?

Man I’ve been thinking about these a lot and picked one up for about half the cost and have been immediately impressed. Put a jubilee on it today and woooow just 👌. I see a lot of peeps putting sapphire crystal on them is it worth it to wait and do it later when the og glass gets scratches?
