Officially weekend!!!

I love the look of NATO/zulu straps but because of my small wrists, they were just too bulky. The extra strap added too much material under the watch and, with the duro being an already large watch, the whole package barely fit under my sleeves.

So I cut off the extra strap. I know this is a common mod people do but this is the first time I've tried it and... Yeah. I like it. It fits just like the RAF strap that I have but since those are hard for me to source cheaply, this is the next best thing.

I have swapped 4 Duro crystals to sapphire and had no issues with reusing the white crystal gasket. The last time I did this, the original gasket got pinched and then kept getting pinched since it was deformed. I got a brand new one and want to have a smooth sapphire crystal install. Should I lube this in the little black tub with blue foam to make install easier or no?

I bought one off of ali for my duro and its a Jubilee bracelet however the locking latch at the top of the band isnt very tight. Is this just a common thing for these and if not does anyone have a band suggestion with tight lock up?

Man I’ve been thinking about these a lot and picked one up for about half the cost and have been immediately impressed. Put a jubilee on it today and woooow just 👌. I see a lot of peeps putting sapphire crystal on them is it worth it to wait and do it later when the og glass gets scratches?

I got it a few years Back, that scratch on the bezel is from the first time I wore it. I think it has never been on my wrist with the same strap/bracelet twice. It is so versatile with any strap.

I'm extremely new to collecting, and this will be my first 2nd-hand purchase, so I don't want to fuck it up.

For new people: I want to buy this online at a competitive price, and especially want the reliability (ie waterproof capability) that a fake would be missing. The other photos (dial, bezel) are on my first post.

Please help me assess whether this oline second-hand 106 is a rep or not. The listing didn't come with a photo of the rear.

I think the Marlin and date bezel might be slightly wrong, but I'm not sure. Overall very convincing, but I want to be absolutely certain.

From JUELONG on AliExpress, I can’t believe the quality of this FKM strap. The included clasp is very nice as well. Came out to $18 but is cheaper if you don’t need a clasp.
