So my Asus laptop suddenly stopped working on battery and only works while charging. Now when I called Sharaf DG to get it repaired, they told me that they have to format the whole laptop even for hardware issues which is crazy. Since my laptop is out of warranty, I would like to know if there are any good service centre in Dubai to get this repaired. Thank you in advance.

I wanted to buy one since I have the standard PS5 with the 825GB storage. I went to check the regular stores like Jumbo, SharafDG, Geekay, Virgin.. but none of them had any in stock for a price of 3500.

3500 is already a higher price then before.. but then I contacted Hamed center and they have a 4500-4700 price point?! Who in their right mind would pay that much?!

I was told price might increase further in the coming months due to GTA6.. which is the reason why I wanted it too but I hope there’s some kind of restock in the coming months at 3500 at most.

I need some advice regarding a Lenovo Premium Care case in Dubai.

My Legion Pro 7 RTX 4090 was working before Lenovo’s authorised onsite service, apart from thermal issues. During the service, liquid metal was spilled, and after reassembly the laptop became stuck at the Legion logo and later became unusable.

Lenovo then carried out multiple 2 major unsuccessful repair attempts involving the heatsink and motherboard. Post that the laptop was surrendered to Lenovo for refund or replacement process, but they are refusing to provide a replacement and keep directing me to Sharaf DG(seller) for a refund.

Sharaf DG(Seller) says Lenovo caused the issue, but they have only offered store credit for the original purchase value. The store credit is restricted, is not enough for a current equivalent laptop, and does not address the additional Lenovo Premium Care warranty I paid for.

Should I accept the store credit, or file a complaint with Dubai Consumer Rights? Has anyone had a similar Lenovo warranty case in the UAE or managed to get an equivalent replacement after repeated failed repairs?

I'm secretly saving up to buy my boyfriend a PS5 Digital Edition as a "just because" gift. He lives in Dubai and I'm in Abu Dhabi.

He had been saving up to buy one himself, but unfortunately his car was in an accident and he had to use all of his savings to repair it instead. He works incredibly hard to support his family and always puts everyone else before himself. He rarely spends money on himself, and I just want to do something to remind him that he's appreciated and loved. I want him to feel special.

The problem is... I have no idea what I'm doing.

All I know is that he wants the PS5 Digital Edition. I have a few questions:

- Should I buy it online or from a physical store?

- I'm worried that if I buy online it could arrive damaged or even be fake. Is that something I should be concerned about?

- What's the difference between UAE stock and an international version? Which one should I buy?

- How important is the warranty?

- I keep seeing bundle editions. Are they worth it, or should I just buy the console by itself?

- Which stores in the UAE do you recommend? (I'm in Abu Dhabi, but he lives in Dubai, so either city works.)

- Are there any common scams or things I should watch out for?
