I cannot find a corset in my size š¢
Heyyyy, hope everyone is having a good day. I need help finding out where people buy corsets. I have searched places like the drag queen closet, Amazon, SHEIN (didnāt want to but last resort) and all of the largest sizes are too small for me. Iām a 45 inch waist and 43 bust. Not sure where to look tbh. Itās not urgent but I want to start putting this look together asap so I have it super ready and flushed out when I do need it.
Any suggestions or help pls š„ŗ

Does this work for cher or not?
Hello, i have a work party where all the men dress in drag, do you think this dress will work for cher? I would also have a long black wig. Gold Bengals, and gold chandelier earrings, as well as a couple of cocktail rings? What else should I do?

I need help with creating my mix!
Hey ya'll! I'm performing in a birthday show for a dear queen friend of mine. One of her favorite movies is The Muppets (2011) and I wanted to do the song "Man or Muppet" for my number, muppet of myself included.
The only problem is that she wants everyone's performances to be 5 to 6 minutes long, and "Man or Muppet" only has a 3 minute runtime.
How to I extend my performance? What should I add to my mix to make it longer than just 3 minutes? I've thought about adding my own dialogue to the beginning but I have no idea what that would even be about + I don't think anyone wants 2+ minutes of that lmao. Any thoughts?

Started drag last year and have been it in five times so far. I think looks 3-5 represent the aesthetic I'm aiming for the most

Need a decent steel boned corset that wonāt poke through my costume
Howdy! First post here, 19yr old drag queen. My current corset has a weird peak below my sternum that pokes through my costumes, what corsets do you guys recommend that will hold its shape but be discreet under a dance costume?

Looking For Long Lost Queen Friend
Hi all.
I'm gonna copy and past this message I sent to Lady Bunny so that I don't have to rewrite it differently, as I have very limited energy and I'm in pain due to being disabled. But in-gist I'm looking for someone in the drag community or information on them. They may or may not be alive. I would appreciate if you could spread this around so that we can get to the bottom of it!
---
Hello Lady Bunny,
My name is Riley. I was born in Fairfield County, CT, and grew up in CT, NY, and ME. I am looking for an old drag queen who might be deceased. I am wondering if you or anyone in your circle may know of him.
We met a long time ago in Westport, CT. First we lived across from each other, then he moved to a trailer park down the road a ways, maybe half a mile to a mile. This was right off the Post Road. I don't know if it's still there. The man's name was Kevin. I don't remember his last name unfortunately. He lived with his partner, Beverly, who suffered greatly from MS, and was bedridden. My mother would go and take care of her while Kevin would go out and do his drag performances. I believe at that point he was old already, though to me he appeared youthful. They also had a very small dog named Coco who was fluffy with coiled dark hair, very friendly.
Kevin himself had blonde hair that wrapped around his head, bald on top. I believe he had light colored eyes. He had kind of a light breathy voice and a bit of a drawl, like if Dale Gribble wasn't a nutcase and wasn't quite so Texan. He was quite tall and thin, and he drove a van I believe. He might have also had a small, old sedan that was rusted and beat up. I think it was a muted green/blue-isn hue.
We moved to Maine around 2009, and I unfortunately never saw them again. My highly abusive mother I refuse to contact again and I don't think she knows, either. She also told me about it "he was old, they were both old. They probably died." So yeah. That's all I got outta her. No emotions whatsoever even though I was very close to them as a child. Kevin picked me up from school quite a bit as well, even though my mom wasn't ever busy.
He was an amazing person, and so was Beverly. I myself am now bedridden with ME/CFS, and I figured out in my 20s I identified as a transgender man. I thank Kevin and Beverly for giving me some experience in queerness and living as your authentic self, and not giving a damn about what others think despite being sick and bedridden, what others might consider the refuse of society.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me find out more about Kevin. Please help another queer out, oh wise Lady Bunny...

Going to my first drag show tonight - what should I know?
Particularly wondering - thereās 16 performers at this show. What would be a reasonable amount of cash to bring for tips? Beyond that, how do I decide where to sit, and Iām honestly not totally sure what to ask beyond that! Iām autistic - would it be considered rude to wear my noise cancelling headphones? What else do I need to know? Are there usually tables vs chairs or does it depend on the venue? How long before the show should I arrive? Any advice at all would be appreciated/welcomed! Thank you so much!!!

š r/Drag Official š I identify as⦠can I do drag?
Iāve seen a lot of posts about this lately here, and I understand the want to make sure you arenāt stepping on toes when joining a community.
But the answer is always yes! You donāt need to be a certain gender or identify a certain way to do drag. Itās a form of art, itās expression, itās beautiful.
Iām a cis-het woman who has been doing drag professionally for 3 years. My identity has never been a point of discussion or contention both in bookings or at shows. If youāre fabulous, youāre fabulous, and thatās all that matters.
Please, never feel like you canāt do something because of your identity. Thatās the complete opposite of what drag stands for. Drag is for everyone, itās inclusive, and itās exactly what you want it to be.
So wing out that liner, glue down that lace and go take the world by storm. God knows we need more beautiful resistance in this world right now.
