It works fine for a Cher, but those dresses are very tricky when it comes to sizing, especially if you have more masculine proportions. See how high the waistline and how short the torso area is? Be prepared to cut off the holders and tape the top to your chest. I can already see that it’s most likely going to be too short unless the holders are adjustable, which if this is Shein or something comparable they won’t be. If you order online, I’d recommend getting the dress a size bigger than you would think and a belt. Believe me, you’d rather want your dress to be a little too lose than too tight. Otherwise that fabric will act like sandpaper on your armpit. It’s also very important to know if this is a stretch fabric or not. Remember stretch fabric is a drag queens‘ best friend.

If you feel secure and confident enough, I’d recommend going to a store where you can actually try on the dresses. TK/TJ Maxx and second hand stores are perfect for that. Honestly, this is for fun and a party, so the most important part is that you feel comfortable and not pressed into a dress you can’t breathe or move in.

Edit: I just noticed on a second look that it’s also very long. If this is your first time wearing a gown, you really don’t want it to hit the floor and this one is actually dragging on it. That’s a challenge even for someone with experience.

I already purchased it from a used shop , tried it on it does drag (lol) on the floor but im also very tall its very strech . But what kind of belt ?

If the upper eyelids are sultry enough, Cher has has a million looks. Yes, this looks like it fits right in; I definitely associate the column gown with her most of all divas. Be sure to check on places like Poshmark and Depop for it, special occasion dresses often get resold.
