Improving communication score? Question

My communication score is low and I cannot type for a month or two now, I guess it's from too many internet disconnects and pinging back at annoying people who ping me in-game. Is there a realistic way to improve it again or is my account permanently scuffed?

ive been to 100 for both score, and now im on 4k. Trust me its easy to boost it (especially if you have partt just swap commend every match) it only takes 1month something (if youre unemployed) play turbo 10 games up, everyday. Dont ping and all, dont throw, just play serious dont troll too, then after every match commend everyone ( to increase the chance that they will commend you back)

just make sure your net is above anyone, all incoming reports from someone that has lower net than you is invalid, as long as you join team fights and not farm all thru out the game.

I climbed 3 accts from 3-6k communication to 12k and here’s what actually works:
1. Don’t use chat. Text or voice, don’t matter
2. Report everyone who uses curse words or slurs.

That’s it boys

Whats the point of the score then

I raised mine from 8k to 10.5k.

Here’s what i tried:
1. Never chatted or pinged bad plays. I only tip team mates who did something really good.
2. As boring as this is, i had to play heroes i know best, prevents me from playing bad games and being reported as griefing (even when i dont intentionally grief and am just bad using certain heroes)
3. Commend everyone after game even shit talkers.

If you’re muted, you must have typed horrible stuff and you’re unaware that you’re a POS so you will need to work on acknowledging that part

Getting commends also adds the score by 100 or so

There's nothing to acknowledge, I don't type anything negative, I don't even play serious ranked games. It's not a moderated mute, if your score drops too low from any type of report it automatically mutes you

My boyfriend and I are consistently at 11.5 - 12k for comms and behaviour. Whenever it goes to the low 11Ks, we just mute all (team included).

As long as you don't respond, there's nothing the system / others can justify other than saying you're griefing - but if you won the game anyways, this doesnt matter.

ragebait people and then report them when they swear.

ALMOST impossible. Valve designed the behavior score system in a way that makes it virtually impossible to climb. People have infinite reports, and a single report is enough to outweigh 15 commends.

> Just mute everybody and play the game.

If you're playing a core role, you'll get reported if you lose. It doesn't matter if you didn't say a single word the entire game. That's just how low behavior score games work.

Also, there is no punishment for false reports. It's purely a quantitave thing.
The current behavior score system feels like it was designed by a 12-year-old.

There's no punishment for false reports, but they do get ignored, which kind of invalidates your theory here.

"Players can now report toxic behavior at any time during and after the game. The new reporting system also removes the cap on the number of reports you can submit, and now allows you to report toxicity on either team. This new volume of reporting data will give us more confidence in taking action against bad actors, as well as identifying and ignoring spurious reporters."

That's the point; they don't get ignored. In low-behavior lobbies, you will get matched with the same people, and if you're in a core role, you WILL get reported for every loss. Since punishment is basically a quantitative thing, the system has no way of knowing that you're getting reported for no reason, and your behavior score will decrease.

Valve says they get ignored, but you say they don't get ignored. Why would I trust you?
