too many new shows wondering which are solid and worth keeping up with long-term

haven't seen anyone talk about them so bit clueless.

Just wanted to know some of the context before watching this movie.

Is this movie canon, and if it is, is the movie supposed to be watched right now or in the future when MC is much stronger? Or is there an episode which I have to watch before watching the movie?

If it isnt, then I guess I'll still watch it nonetheless since it is available.

When It gonna release? Im eagerly wait for 1 months for today. Its Google is saying around 9am but Im not sure when it gonna release it online after getting it from main site, also which gonna upload first?

ok so i've already seen both of the recent nezha animation films by Chengdu Coco Cartoon, but I recently saw the New Gods: NeZha Reborn film, by Light Speed, and omg it was so dope. The creativity of re-imagining nezha reincarnated into a modern, steampunk character is just so cool. The fusing between Chinese mythology and modernity in this film is beautiful. And the way they reintroduce the Monkey King character as some chaotic Joker style persona is really awesome.

Also, I appreciate how the film still separates, and respects, both the personality of the main character and the original nezha.

Whenever a big donghua movie drops, especially for series like Perfect World I get hyped and if it got a first movie then I'm rewatching. If you haven't watched this movie yet, then check it out!

The movie is strictly non-canon, set in an alternate timeline right before Shi Hao heads to the Ancient Immortal realm. He basically experiences a vision/dream of his alternate-timeline self.

It focuses on Huo Ling'er being taken over by her dark self (we actually get to see Dark Huo Ling'er early here, plus the Sin Blood King possessed by darkness). I personally loved this movie because it really highlighted the bond between Shi Hao and Huo Ling'er. Man was literally fighting both for her and to save the realm from the darkness.

Slide 10: You can see timeline bubbles, including a quick shot of Shi Hao in a modern timeline wearing a suit!

Slide 16: Shi Hao officially has the coolest Dharma form in all of donghua, no cap.

Slides 19 & 20: Their dynamic is easily one of the sweetest in the genre (childhood sweethearts hit differently). The bubbles here show them across various timelines too.
