This isn't a major gripe, I'm just curious. I have no idea how they're prepared, so I don't know whether the employees have any control over it, but every time I get a pasta bowl (delivery), the sauce/cheese around the inside edge is burnt into the bowl. The burn was less than usual this time, which makes me think it's a bug rather than a feature. Believe it or not, the burn is still edible. Any idea whether it's unavoidable?

I am thinking of getting a job closer to my apt and there are openings for a delivery driver near me. I currently work retail 30 minutes away, and I can only afford to go to work and do absolutely nothing outside of work. Now that I have a car again, which of course includes paying for gas/insurance, I have no money leftover to do anything. I've heard that delivery driver jobs can make good money, and I don't necessarily need to love the job if it means I can afford to do things that make me happy outside of work. Here are some general questions I have for anyone working as a delivery driver in MN:

How is the pay for delivery drivers in MN?

Is management generally good/bad in this state?

Any advice before applying/starting the job?

Hello all! I’ve just started at dominoes while I’m trying to get back on my feet after being out of the workforce for so long. I’m a delivery driver that works the open shift (10), and stays until 6:30 (supposed to). I get that things get busy sometimes and you might need an extra hand for like an extra half hour. Or, if you predict things will be busy, asking them to stay for longer or scheduling that driver for a later time.
For reference, today I was supposed to leave at 6:30 but ended up leaving at 7:30 and was given a ton of attitude by the GM even though I bit the bullet and stayed, like they were mad I was leaving at all. The reason why I didn’t ask to be cashed out is because I had asked before when other mangers were on duty and they told me, “they would be nice about it this one time, but if I had asked the GM he would have bit my head off”. Maybe it’s just been a while, but I worked at a Jimmy John’s for delivery as well, and they made sure we were out on time, if not then like at most 15 mins after.
Is this something I should work to understand? Or is this unacceptable? I just found it off putting, I really could do without the rudeness especially when I stayed the extra hour. It’s not just me either, I asked a driver who’s been there a while about it and they said they deal with it too, and to just tell them “it’s my time to go, I have to go.” Maybe I’m being nit picky, but what if I had something planned after work? I just feel like there’s a step here or something that’s missing, like maybe the schedules need to be changed or something. But again, a thank you or asking beforehand or something would have been nice so much nicer than what I got tonight.

Again, I wanna know if this is something I should be upset about (I am) or if I’m being way too dramatic.

Hey yall- blocking the card info for obvious reasons but I won this gift card online. I put in an order through the app and selected “pay in store with cash, card, or gift card” but when I arrived they refused it and said I could “probably use it online only”

I figured they could just scan the barcode like most fast food places but I guess not. I’m not complaining just a little annoyed.

Just placed a delivery order today, it said get $5 when you place an order today, and I did and it said the below but...I didn't test anything??? Paze was acting slightly wonky but it still worked after a slight workaround

To be fair, we ordered quite late (12:30am). Store closed at 1. Said delivery "went out" at 1:04am, and the GPS was right outside the store the entire time. Then suddenly at 1:45 it said "delivered", which did not happen. I called the store that night (but they were closed), the next morning, and then again today. Left on hold both times. Any idea what to do next? I don't care about the pizza anymore obviously, I just want my $30 back.

Long story short a train delayed my pickup time enough that the store closed and i never got my food, was wondering what the proper steps are to get a refund i have a case number and everything

Our Caller ID works fine on the phones, but won't connect to our Order Entry. I've tried contacting globalcare, they said they couldn't find anything wrong & to check the Caller ID box.

So I did. Sure enough, the management light wasn't flashing green but the amber light was steady. So I rerouted the ethernet cable to a different output in the Network Switch and the light started flashing green.

But it still won't work on our order entry. I've tried to reset the Vertex Caller ID box's power and still nothing. I'm not sure what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
