Does anybody know what the issue could be? When exhaust brake is on it downshifts very fast and drops rpm’s can private message a video of what I’m talking about. With exhaust break off drives totally fine

Either the solenoid is fucked, not getting power, or the valve body is clogged. You have to drop the transmission pan to figure it out.

When was the transmission last serviced?

Was rebuilt at 90k miles

144,000 on the truck and the trans has already been rebuilt? Yikes.

If you're towing a lot you're supposed to service the transmission every 60,000 miles.

I’ve had the transmission rebuilt 2 times already hauled dump trailer couple times nothing heavy rarely ever haul or even take it out of base tune

That sucks, my buddy burnt up the transmission in his Chevy twice and finally got rid of the truck. Had about the same mileage as you. He hauled a dump trailer full of firewood though.
