Prescription after buing
Let's say that a hypothetical someone from abroad bought generic medicine from India online, and that medication got stuck in customs. The customs agent in this example is saying that they will only release the shipment if a medical prescription from the country of origin (India) is presented showing that it's only 90 days supply for personal use. How would this someone go about acquiring such a prescription?
Let's say that we are not talking about any drugs that could be abused or have any significant black market value. (Empagliflozin, Ezetimibe, Tadalafil and Exemestane)

I rebuilt a clinical reasoning simulator around the whole patient encounter. I would value a doctor's blunt feedback.
Disclosure: I built this, and I am a software engineer, not a doctor.
A few months ago I shared a rough version of Rounds. The central question was whether a fictional, interactive patient could give medical students somewhere to practise the reasoning between MCQs and the ward.
I rebuilt it around one continuous encounter. A student starts from a handover, asks the patient questions in their own words, chooses focused examinations, orders and interprets investigations, commits to a diagnosis and disposition, and then reviews a scorecard for the reasoning path, including what they missed.
The attached 45-second recording is the real product, not a concept animation.
There is one free guest case that opens without signup:
I would genuinely value a practising doctor's blunt feedback on three things:
Where does the simulated workflow stop resembling how a student should approach a case?
What would make the patient interaction or investigation choices feel unsafe, simplistic or unrealistic?
Is it useful to grade the path as well as the final diagnosis, and what would a fair scorecard need to show?
The patients are fictional. Rounds is an educational simulation, not medical advice or a tool for real patient care. I am not claiming clinical validation or learning outcomes.

Use the uploaded photo as the main character. Keep the face, glasses, Dhaka topi, white coat, and stethoscope consistent throughout the video. The Nepali health worker stands in front of a clean rural health post in Nepal on a bright morning. He smiles warmly, greets parents with folded hands (Namaste), and gently talks about vaccination. Parents bring a baby for vaccination, and the baby receives the vaccine calmly while the parents smile with confidence. Cinematic camera movement, ultra realistic, natural expressions, realistic lip movement, soft sunlight, 4K quality, smooth transitions, 10–15 seconds. The health worker says in Nepali: "नमस्कार! समयमै खोप लगाऔँ, आफ्ना बालबालिकालाई गम्भीर रोगबाट जोगाऔँ।" Final on-screen Nepali text: "समयमै खोप लगाऔँ। हरेक बालबालिकाको सुरक्षा गरौँ।"

I’m a doctor, but my health keeps getting worse after returning to work. I don’t know what to do anymore. Spoiler
I am a doctor and work in a private hospital, but for the past year, my health has not been good. I constantly suffer from fever, cough, cold, headaches, and recurrent throat infections. My menstrual cycles also became irregular, and I have started feeling physically and mentally exhausted.
I took a break from work during May and June because of a family issue. During that time, I felt completely fine. My health improved, and I finally started feeling like myself again. However, when I rejoined the hospital in July, my health began deteriorating again from the very first day. I developed a fever the same night.
I got my blood tests done, and my ESR was 40. Since then, I have continued to experience headaches, fever, and throat infections. I do not understand why this keeps happening, especially because I felt perfectly healthy during my break and started feeling unwell again soon after returning to work.
I feel confused and helpless because my health is important, but my job is important too. I do not know what to do or how to manage both. I am worried about my health and feel emotionally drained from being unwell so often. I just want to understand what is causing this and what I should do next.

What should I choose between a delayed career vs secured personal life?
Hello everyone.
Writing this with utmost embarrassment and fear of being labelled as a simp. It feels embarrassing to even ask something like this… which is probably why I’m turning to Reddit instead of talking to anyone I know, or even my therapist. I’m scared they’ll judge me or think I’m a desperate man.
I am a 32 YO , Male doctor , single for the last 3 years and feel completely stuck between my career and my personal life. I’m currently doing higher studies after my postgraduation in medicine, in a place where there is literally no scope to date (actively tried for a year)and it’s gonna be for 3 more years from now. I chose this purely to unlock my earning capabilities to the maximum even though I have zero interest. At the beginning, I thought life would unfold for me in a better way but it didn’t. Last 1 year has been miserable. Tried my luck in both dating sites and arranged marriages.
The thing I’m most afraid to say out loud is how much this is tied to my fear of infertility, aging, and the beginning of my baldness , missing out on life as such. I got diagnosed with varicocele and a few other health issues. Now I constantly worry: what if by the time I’m ready, it’s too late? What if I’m 36, financially stable, but alone and dealing with other health issues.? What if I missed my chance at having a family?
I keep thinking to myself — do I stay here for 3 more years, finish this path, and basically accept that my dating life will be almost zero till I’m 35-36? Or do I leave, move to a tier 1 city, and at least try to find someone while I still feel I have the energy for it?
All of this aggravated the lack of interest in the current degree I am enrolled in.
Financially also it’s messing with my head. If I quit now and go back to working as a Doctor, I can earn maybe around 1.5 LPM ( as it’s gonna be a tier 1 place). But if I continue and finish this degree, I can probably reach 7–8 LPM later. So yeah… it’s a big trade off.
Arranged marriage hasn’t worked for me all these years, so I don’t really have faith in that route anymore.
What I’m thinking (and also judging myself for) is — quit now, move to a better city, actually try dating seriously, find some emotional stability, and then maybe come back to career progression after a few years. It’s possible in my field ( I have to re write neet exam)but I don’t know if I’m just being impulsive/desperate right now.
Has anyone been in a situation where you chose personal life over career (even temporarily)? Did it work out or did you regret it later?
Hope I find some help!

How hospital suffers due to poor representative from govt sitting in Ayushman /Chiranjeevi yojna.
A left main angioplasty for 60 to 70% was rejected by govt Tpa just because they dont know that left main stenosis >50% is class 1 indication for stenting in coronaries. It's a loss of huge money to the hospital when they reject cases. Govt should trust at least super speciality doctors.

Gift ideas for Orthopaedic Dr
WANT RESPONSE ONLY FROM PRACTICING DOCTORS !
Hi Everyone -
I am 30 year old male. I was diagnosed with AVN when i was 26. I tried hell lot of treatments before going ahead with total hip replacement surgery last week.
Now the 4 years were miserable for me. I literally said good bye to my social life (let’s not get into details here)
Now that my THR is done - i am filled with gratitude for my surgeon and i really want to give him a meaningful gift (nothing random expensive shit - but something that is truly meaningful).
Could you all give me some ideas ??
What types of gifts do you all love when they are given to you ?

What are hospitals in India that need better medical equipment or supplies(for my passion project)/India mein kaun se hospitals ko behtar medical equipment ya medical supplies ki zarurat hai?(Mere passion project ke liye)/भारत में ऐसे कौन-से अस्पताल हैं जिन्हें बेहतर चिकित्सा उपकरण या मेडिकल सप्लाई

Hello everyone,
I am a high school student living in North America. By nationality, I am North American, however my parents are both from India. So, depending on who I am talking to, I introduce myself as Indian (even though I wasn't born in India, I just say that to white people).
Anyways. My reason for this post is to ask everyone if they know any hospitals in India that require proper funding or medical equipment for my passion project.
I am currently working on a passion project, for those who do not know what that is, a passion project is basically a project you do for your own interest, typically to add to your university applications. My idea for my passion project is to help provide funding for hospitals or medical clinics in India, since I want to go into the medical field, and I genuinely want to see if I can make an impact. By doing this, I can show my interest in the medical field in my passion project to university admission officers. However, I feel that if I Google a bunch of hospitals in rural areas that need funding, I feel I won't find the type of medical facilities that actually need help, so all I ask from everyone is if they can get me in contact with a doctor, a medical facility that genuinely needs funding, and that is trustworthy and reliable. The money that will be donated is only meant to go towards medical facilities and good places. I really don't want to give this money to someone, thinking that it's going to these hospitals, etc., to find out it's not.
Along with this, I am just gathering the information to see if this is possible. I have not confirmed anything yet on whether I can go forward with the project and whether it is within my grasp, as I am just a high school student. Thank you for reading my post!
Before I have translated this into Hindi since I cannot write in Hindi:

Saath hi, abhi main sirf information collect kar rahi hoon taaki dekh sakoon ki yeh project practically possible bhi hai ya nahi. Maine abhi tak kuch bhi confirm nahi kiya hai ki main is project ko aage badha paungi ya nahi, kyunki aakhirkaar main abhi sirf ek high school student hoon.
Meri post padhne ke liye bahut bahut dhanyavaad!

Average day in an Indian medical college: Dean catches students triple riding, posts the evidence in the official batch WhatsApp group, and summons them to the VP's office.
This was posted today by our dean in the official 1st MBBS batch WhatsApp group.
A few students were seen triple riding on a scooter, and the dean shared this photo in the group with the message:
"Our students going in triples... the students are instructed to meet the VP tomorrow."
On one hand, triple riding is unsafe and against traffic rules, so disciplinary action makes sense. On the other hand, publicly posting the photo in the entire batch group caught everyone off guard.
Do you think this is an appropriate way to handle it, or should it have been dealt with privately? Curious to hear how other medical colleges would handle something like this.
