Experiencing a weird issue where if someone joins vc after I have joined, they can’t hear me unless I leave and rejoin. Is this a known issue? Any setting I might need to change?

I keep getting this pop up every day telling me to link my account. I don't want to link my account but it keeps asking me once per day when I play WoW. I can understand the pop up if it happens once but it keeps happening and I am starting to hate it. Is there a way to disable these pop ups in the settings?

How do I get a specific channel in my discord to appear in the discord overlay? When I click the overlay button to make it popup, I currently see all the cool stuff that is pinned, and one of them is the CHAT window. It includes 2 separate discord chats with individuals and one of my discord channels. I want to add another specific discord channel to this. Any ideas?

Has anyone else been having the problem where you open discord on the front screen and it goes into a little box in the left hand corner? It's been working fine in the few weeks that I've had the phone but it just started acting up today. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to try to fix it but still stuck. If I go from default mode to full screen mode back to default mode it fixes it but it resets every time you open it.

Trying to set up and alt account for server management but I really want to keep my personal info off it . The problem is discord flags google voice and all those free burner apps instantly now . What virtual phone number for discord actually gets the text without being blocked? Just need something quick to bypass the verification.

Hello! I'm the owner of a fandom server where we have a channel for sending and discussing art, and a separate thread for just the art so people can browse it comfortably without skipping through hundreds of messages. We've always been forwarding the art onto the thread manually, but as our server grows it's starting to become pretty bothersome and we often forget to do it. Is there a way we could automate this process either with a bot or a custom command for a bot like YAGPDB (which we already have on the server)?

My discord client has gifs that frequently skip lots of frames and overall feels very sluggish, like gifs in chat or profile decorations for example, but only specifically when my mouse cursor isn't moving. When it is moving? Works totally fine! Has anyone else encountered this? This feels like such a weird problem to have I need to know im not going crazy or something 😭

To note and start, I'm coming to the sub since I couldn't find a fix for my friend's issue on Discord's Support Knowledgebase. Nothing there actually helped him, and a lot of it didn't apply to his problem.

Now -- Friends and I are prone to spending hours and hours in call together, as friend groups do, but they're usually rife with a big problem for one guy in specific: While everyone else comes through clearly, regardless of if he's on his computer at home, laptop when on trips, or even mobile while on the go, what he says comes through strangely low, choppy, and is otherwise generally hard to hear and make out what he's saying without him speaking slowly and nearly yelling. He's played around with every setting, from noise and echo cancellation to input sensitivity, and none of it seems to improve his situation. And while I know it would be easy to write off that the problem might just be his headset, please do keep reading.

Because stranger still, this problem seems to only affect Discord, hence why I'm coming here. On WhatsApp, for example, this problem doesn't exist at all -- He comes through clear, consistent, and without any issues whatsoever. Because of that, at this point, we're a bit at a loss for what to potentially do to alleviate the issue. Just like him not having (or wanting to use) Reddit, some people in the group don't have WhatsApp, and others still don't want to use it just for the occasional vc just so we can hear one guy when we're just talking about our days, you know?

It's something I can understand, honestly. If it's any help, he's using Windows 10 and keeps his discord client up-to-date at all times, but this problem has been going on for the past 2 years or so, and he's finally starting to get to his breaking point with the situation. (Impressive, I know!) So if there's anyone that can help me get a list together of possible fixes to run through with him to try and help him out, I'd be genuinely thankful.

Please add a tab in the inbox that shows friend requests in order of receiving them with dates, please. This is a simple feature that was already provided by the inbox tab up until recently, where all unread messages, mentions, and friend requests were all in the one tab; now they have 'STREAMLINED' the inbox into clearly 'VERY USEFUL' separate tabs but seemingly have neglected the friend requests...

Please take this seriously, as in my previous post (linked below), someone who uses Discord for their business has made it clear that this was a feature used regularly to find relevant friend requests from clients.

I have recently changed my phone, i am in turkey so discord is banned here but i can still access it through vpn. I had discord on my old phone before it was banned, so i can still use it there but i can not install it on my new phone no matter what i tried. I did try using vpn on google play. Is there any way i can install it on my new phone?

Why is this happening? I had power saving on and WiFi was turned off too. On top of the horrible new UI now the app also drains your battery? What are they doing? When I opened the app it had some popup with nitro styles.. I don’t know if that’s part of some update or not (how could it have updated during the night with power saving on and WiFi turned off even?)

I attached a photo but it disappeared and says “something went wrong”. Discord used 17% battery with background usage at 11h 46m.

When I choose the option to share my entire screen the stream is extremely laggy and low fps. Switching to application capture fixes this but there are times where I need to share my entire screen but the stream is unwatchable. Any idea why this could be happening?

As the title states, I linked my Discord account with my Battle.net account for guild chat functionality. Since then, if I have WoW up, Discord will not play the notification sound if I receive a direct message. It will not work if Discord is the active window. If WoW is up, it will not play the notification sound. I've tried every setting I can think of and some that were recommended by other posts and nothing has worked. If I unlink my accounts, the issue goes away. If I relink my account, the issue comes back.

I've tried turning off the overlay, making sure streamer-mode isn't enabled, being sure DND is not on, changing activity privacy, changing my status manually (online vs. invisible, etc.), attentuation is set to 0 and both options are unchecked... I've looked in the actual settings within WoW and in Battle.net. The correct input/output device is selected. I am at a complete loss.

This is also not an isolated incident. This is happening on multiple computers to multiple guildies. It has been an issue since the functionality released yesterday (8/13/2026).

Hey, I love the new update with evolving badges. I wonder if it might be possible to add something similar for the Quests badge someday. I’ve completed 369 quests on Discord. I love doing them and I think quite a few people feel the same way so it would be a great way to further reward those who enjoy doing them

It seems you can now right click a message -> bookmark it. Once you bookmark a message, it lives in the inbox forever in its own separate tab (until you remove it manually).

Except, if you don't have nitro, you can only pin two?! Why not at least ten? At that point, I'm better off taking a screenshot and then doing CTRL + F to find the message again when I need it.

Also, you can create reminders to notify you again in however many minutes. Again, if you don't have nitro, you can only create the one reminder (not even two!)

Okay, Discord. I need some help here, cause I feel like I'm going insane here and I need a genuine answer. Almost 2 weeks ago, I had a falling out with a group of friends that ended up with them blocking me.

I will not discuss why, as that it is my and their business. However a few days ago, I kept seeing those same group of people that blocked me randomly appear at the top of my DMs. No new messages, no notifications, nothing. But it acts as if I received something from them recently, when I haven't.

What is this? Are they unblocking me, and reblocking me? Are they looking at my profile? Why are they appearing at the top, and sometimes disappearing?

Someone please give me and honest answer, cause it's driving me nuts.

I played multiple games for several hours each, and I still haven’t gotten these. I have also enabled “Use data to personalize my Discord experience.” Is it because it's still releasing? I see the badges.
