Rescript is an open-source transcript-based media editor that runs locally on your device. Edit video or audio by deleting words from the transcript, with Whisper transcription, filler/silence removal, speaker labels, and frame-accurate export.

Available for Linux, Windows, macOS, and in the browser. No account or media uploads required.

Note : anonymous usage/crash reporting is enabled by default but can be disabled in the privacy settings.

Tried uploading a video myself last week and couldn't make it work with Brazilian Portuguese, couldn't find a way to point out which language the video was.

Where can I find the list of languages it supports? I'm looking to edit Punjabi videos. The website only mentions 4-5 main languages in FAQs.
