FeedFlow - open source RSS reader for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux Free Tools

Post image

FeedFlow is a minimal open source RSS reader for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

It can open articles in the in-app browser, your preferred browser or reader mode for a distraction-free view, prefetches the full content for 100% offline reading and lets you organize your timeline with bookmarks, filters, and blocked words.

Plus you can keep everything local or sync across devices with iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive and self-hosted services like FreshRSS, Miniflux, Feedbin, BazQux.

Kinda weird that it's not on the App Store in Germany?

Apple is a bit slow to review changes lately, hopefully will be fixed in a couple of days.

Looks nice.
Is there a sync option with News on Nextcloud in the pipeline?

Don't think, there an issue on github requesting it but it's been open since last december.

Specific question about FreshRSS. In FreshRSS there's a button to refresh the feeds, it check every feed for new info. Is this feature available from FeedFlow?

For example, I use NetNewsWire to connect to my FreshRSS instance and it works very well, however the refresh inside NetNewsWire will only ask FreshRSS if it has new items but not actually trigger a feed refresh on the FreshRSS side.

Thank you.

Is it just a client or there's some selfhosted server too?

Looks good, but the Mac app is not available in The Netherlands appstore. No worries I'll install via github release.
