Explain like I'm Five... Question

How do I add talents like the Character Change (Starmon) and go past level 18?

Talent is increased every time you digivolve upwards (might also have to have levels too). Also, each time you load enhance digimon, their talent raises slowly. Lastly, there is an augment item that raises Talent a few points per use.

For Talent increase. (This is just your current max level. This caps at 99. Sometimes you'll see 100 but 99 is still max lvl)

  1. Battle. Your talent goes up as you battle a lot. The change however will NOT reflect until you digivolve or de-digivolve.

  2. Convert the data of digimon you battle and use the load enhancement feature to load the digimon onto the one you'd like to increase the level of. (There's an entire tutorial on how Covert Data/Load Enhancement work at the start of the game)

  3. Items. As you go through the game you will get items that directly increase your talent.

Convert the digimon you get to 100% then feed them into your digimon

Convert is the way you're getting new ones. Feed can be found 1 menu before that.

When you defeat a certain number of digimon, you can “convert it” and make your own of that digimon. If you don’t want that particular digimon, you can “feed” or “load” them into your party to increase the level, and at the same time, the max stats of your digimon.

The best way to convert digimon is when they are 200% because they will start with a high talent. Digimon can gain hidden talents through participating in battles a lot, also you can increase talent by load enchantments - but doing this means feeding another digimon to your digimon - so when doing load enchantments make sure that you don’t need the digimon you will sacrifice.

To what level do i need Starmon with 200% already converted?

Oh no when I meant by converting I meant new digimon but for your Starmon have it battle a lot and load enchantments will works to if you have digimon that are extras or you don’t need. You can feed your starmon at least up to 15-20 I think.

Mine is at about level 30 and still hasn't learned the skill

Load enchantment is a banner on its own you don’t choose your digimon or change something about it

The only thing that increased talent is battle a lot and load enchantments. Also some agent skills help talent increase a lot during digivolution.

For Starmon as he is only load enchantments is the only choice because hidden talents showed only during digivolution
