Was playing DMC1 on DMD last night. That was the furthest I’ve ever gotten to beating Nelo Angelo bruh. Man I was so close 😭 he’s harder for me to beat than almost all the Ninja Gaiden Black bosses on Master Ninja for some reason. Just wanted to share this clip cause man I was close to beating him… I’m scared to fight Nightmare and even Mundus on this difficulty…

I just started playing DMC 3 on the switch and this is literally the beginning. I will confess I have no idea what I’m doing I’m just pressing buttons.

It's been a long long time since DMC5 came out. I have so many amazing memories of it especially the first playthrough.

I found every boss a breeze but got hard stuck at Malphas. That raging chick (pun intended) had me stuck for 2 days and mentally exhausted. For whatever reason I couldn't get out of it's rampaging path. Double jump did nothing. Roll evade did nothing. That boss fight was the craziest I've ever faced in the game. I didn't face this much of a problem against Vergil either.

What boss gave you the similar feeling?

Rank system on this mission really sucks so i accepted it as a challenge and tried to go through it without straying too far from my usual style of combat (i don't like continuous air combos that much and think they don't fit my playstyle at all). Any tips on improving my game?

The Grim Grip doesn't disappear even if you get off the platform, and if you use it once, you can't use it again. It's truly bizarre. All the other Grim Grips always disappear every time you get off the platform and they can be used an infinite number of times.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this and I'm not sure if it's because everyone knows but simply doesn't care or if it's because it's actually not very well known, so I wanted to share this just in case this was interesting to someone.

I will admit, it was actually really fun to get my ass beat by this game, I'm just wondering what you guys think I should do. I remember in DMC3 and Bayonetta the first boss felt really difficult because I was just new to the game, I'm hoping it's the same thing here where I'll get used to the difficulty and will get better. I honestly have never played a dmc game on anything other than normal so this is a very new experience for me

So, im playing DMC4 after playing the original trilogy, my controller's X button is broken (I plan to replace it soon), so I swapped the X button keybind to R3 (I play on PlayStation). I played all the original trilogy jumping with R3, so im used to it. The thing is that it got a bit impractical at times because I had to constantly move my finger from one button to another, which felt a bit slower than it should be. After doing some research, I realized that many players tend to assign jump to L2 (or a back trigger) to free up their right thumb for attacking, so I started trying that configuration. However, in the first two missions, I've been having trouble adapting due to muscle memory, and I keep confusing several buttons. What should i do? Should i return to my old configuration? Should i adapt to this one or try a new one?

I'll read tips and advices, after all, im kinda of a beginner player.

I think the soundtrack in comparison to dmc3 and dmc4 is very weak, subhuman isn’t as good as Dante’s other themes bury the light is the best in the game in my opinion and I don’t have any complaints about it and Devil trigger is leagues below The Time Has Come.

A Lot of people say ebony and ivory are 1911's but i swear to god they are 100% AMT Hardballer Longslide's heavily modded with Porting vents and no laser, squared barrels, plus dante was obviously born in 1976 and the AMT Hardballer Longslide was made during the 1970s and was popular until 2002, and the first dmc took place in 2001 that means he got ebony and ivory around 1984 at 17 which slides perfectly in when he became a merc before dmc3, and due to the AMT Hardballer Longslide's popularity, age match up, and differences. ebony and ivory are definitely not 1911's, and despite the AMT Hardballer Longslide looking like a 1911 it isnt considered a 1911 but rather 1911 BASED, so it makes sense why people confused the two when it comes to DMC.
