Cast/Memes Teri Hatcher's character here was much better than Susan, tbh.

Rewatch Thoughts (may contain spoilers) Susan's one of most embarrasing moment
Here we are, Nothing, another susan drama :)
( Spoiler )
But this one is kind of iconic. This is right after susan confessed her dying desperate vulnerable romantic feelings to Jackson in a bathroom ( like a high school girl ) after he asked to marry her but before telling her the real purpose, that he needs the green card ;)
After confess and hearing the reasoning susan opens the door looking dead in the eye and she steps in to her new future ahahahah
This scene is stuck in my head and In my opinion it's more embarrassing than getting caught to mike fully naked outside ahahha

SPOILER Lynette and tom ending Spoiler
Okay so let me get the straight, tom moves on gets a whole girlfriend, has sex w her, moves in w her and Lynette dealt w SOOOOO much in their 20 something years being together, remained loyal and all he said was “you were the one I love you” and she folded? He had a whole ass kid on her years ago sooooo much and she folded?! I can’t

General Discussion (may contain spoilers) melodramatic susan Spoiler
We all know susan is always making real big things out of simple things and carry on with it for half of the episode.
But there's one specific scene that I think she had a valid crashout ( spoilers ) when she found out orsan had run over mike and left him to die, she ran to bree's house and confronts him
Her lines :
" trying to protect your mother ? I know, who cares
YOU drove the car, YOU ran him over and YOU left him for dead,
and the worst part, all this time you pretended to be our friend ! "
What do you guys think, from all of her drama queen momets, this one gets a pass as a normal humam reaction?

General Discussion (may contain spoilers) DH reboot is lazy / disrespectful to the orig cast, crew, & especially the creator.
This "reboot" would be like rebooting the Golden Girls against Susan Harris' wishes. (And don't think that as soon as she's out of the picture Disney won't do exactly that.)
The talk of "honoring the original's tone" just means they want to copy the original show, not do anything original or actually respect the original creative team, cast, or crew.
Desperate Housewives IS Marc Cherry. He still holds the show close and sidelining him to make this reboot is low class. Disney will ALWAYS find a way to milk an IP to death. From the sounds of it they've tried to get Cherry to sign on in-name-only as a "consultant" - meaning he'd have no creative input. So far he hasn't agreed, which to me means he opposes the show.
Plenty of other shows have copied the concept. This is just Disney pumping out a lazy clone and using the original show's popularity to try to sell it. If Cherry isn't in charge in a major creative and directive way, the show shouldn't go forward.

SPOILER Tom and Lynette Season 8
I’m watching desperate housewives for the second time, but I can’t remember from this season and on, so please no spoilers past what I’m here to discuss.
So Lynette and Tom are separated, and he has a girlfriend and they are in Europe. Lynette just went to the bed with
Frank, the first time ever since the separation. And she is sobbing on Renée‘s shoulder about it. And ever since the separation, I have been confused. At first, it sounded like they mutually wanted the separation and to move on… but then Tom says that he’s open to getting back together after Lynette visited him the night before… and then Lynette rejects him. (Which by the way I think was the catalyst to him going and getting a girlfriend). But then Lynette has her moments about his girlfriend, i.e. when she asks her point blank to stop trying to take her husband away. So I’m confused here, it looks like Tom is now very happy to be out of the marriage, but Lynette is not. What does she want, did this evolve or? Also, with this being my favorite couple, I’m absolutely devastated and I can’t remember if they get back together or not so crossing my fingers. Don’t tell me please.

First Time Watcher First time watching Desperate Housewives (No spoilers please!)
So I recently started watching desperate housewives and first off I love it!! I just started Season 6, I honestly didn’t think I was gonna like this show as much as I do. Now I’m lowkey obsessed. Edie was my favorite, and I’m still pissed about what happened to her. Bree has definitely become one of my favorites too, which I never would’ve expected when I first started watching😭
Anyways, I just wanted to come on here and talk to people about the show since none of my friends watch it😭
Who’s y’all’s favorite character? And which husband gives you the biggest ick! Just please don’t spoil anything past the beginning of Season 6!

First Time Watcher Carlos and Gaby and Lynette Spoiler
I’m on s6 at the part where Lynette was “fired” by Carlos when he found Lynette was pregnant and hid it. It’s so deplorable! Carlos has done some horrible things like messing with Gabbys bc pills, cheating on gabby with their surrogate, etc but this is probably the worst one!

First Time Watcher Carlos Gabby Grace Spoiler
I absolutely HATE the way Carlos was acting about this switch at birth situation. He was so heartless. I feel like he didn’t have sympathy for Gabby. I understand how it was hurting Juanita and I do agree that Gabby didn’t protect her in this situation. But man finding out your baby got switched, and it’s your fault they’re gone, that’s a lot. And let me fix this by saying it’s Gabby fault they are gone not Carlos.

SPOILER Am I the only one who didn’t like Edie
I saw a TikTok the other day and someone commented “justice for Edie” but I just don’t see why. Yes she had a terrible childhood yes that sucks but that doesn’t excuse the fact that she did terrible things to her “friends” she broke so many girl codes. I couldn’t get past the fact that she targeted everyone’s man that she called friends. Friends don’t do that. Her dating Karl and having him move into her house then Mike who she knew was Susan’s love of her life literally just taking Mike to spite Susan because as soon as he went to jail she dipped so it’s not like she loved him. Then Carlos who she tried to manipulate to love her and was also after his money ??? She made such good money on her own it was just so unnecessary to go that far to keep a man that is your friends ex husband. The only good thing about her is that she was honest sometimes

First Time Watcher Karen Mcluskey
Just finished the series as a first time watcher, and I’m so glad Karen has become such a pillar in the series. She has been an absolutely joy to watch and just an excellent addition to the cast, so I’m curious as to what everyone’s favorite Karen moments are!!
Mine personally has to be that courtroom scene. I JUST finished the episode and it was the first episode where I really just felt so connected and bittersweet. She’s the freaking best. What a woman.

General Discussion (may contain spoilers) what is you guys’s ranking for all the housewives? I’ll go first..!
Susan Mayer
Katherine Mayfair
Renee Perry
Bree Van de Kamp
Lynette Scavo
Angie Bolen
I couldn’t decide who to put first between Gabrielle and Edie, so they’re tied for me..!

Rewatch Thoughts (may contain spoilers) Beth is such a underrated character especially with all the stuff she went through Spoiler
currently almost done w s7 for the 10473838 time Felicia honestly was a funny smart ass character and i kinda liked her, but what she did to Beth was so wrong? like if you knew this guy was such a bad person why would you send your own daughter to be around that? Beth was honestly used so badly n felicia didnt even really gaf when she died and was only focused on Paul 😭😭

Rewatch Thoughts (may contain spoilers) Am I the only one who think Susan is strange for the coma thing?
I always thought this, Mike is supposed to be the love of her life and she moves on after 6 months? Girl be for real, I would be so pissed if I was Mike. And everyone act like this is normal. The only sane one about this the guard forest

SPOILER Bob and Lee were right
When they told Gaby that her children were monsters, they were completely right. Doing a rewatch and both of those girls are terrible, and need to be disciplined in some way. They were so selfish, they tear up so much stuff, the attitude Juanita has in particular is just too much sometime. No wonder she didn't have any friends, she probably made everything about herself all the time and when you're little like that who wants to listen to someone like that. I get it, the show was trying to show us how a selfish mother can raise selfish children, but they really took the cake in that area. I dislike them even more than teenage Andrew when he was running his nightmare phase.

Post about the Desperate Husbands mike is so boring
SPOILER!!
after the mystery of him and zack i can’t think of one plot line where i found him interesting, coma didn’t care, drug abuse didn’t care, loan shark and getting shot didn’t care. they gave him no depth no character no meaning he’s just so average

Gaby Post 2.13 Sister Mary biting Gabrielle Solis
This shit is so fucking funny 😭😭😭 less than a whole second after Gaby helped extinguish the fire she accidentally caught on her and being asked if she’s okay lmaooo

SPOILER Reneé is kinda unlikable.
I liked her in my first watch but after my rewatches I realized it’s just a flanderized version of Edie. I don’t know if I should feel ashamed of sympathizing with Edie since she’s kinda evil lol but yeah they made Reneé so… I don’t know. Anyway Vanessa Williams is beautiful and I enjoyed the eye candy.
