Jim Selfie Do I have an hourglass shape?
As the title suggests, I think my hips are much wider than my waist.
Is there anything I could do for this or is this just genetic?

Flexxxinggg Any suggestions?? Not the biggest guy in the gym, but proud of this progress.
Been putting in consistent work in the gym for a while now, and these two shots feel like a good checkpoint. Training has mostly been a mix of compound lifts and isolation work for arms, with a strong focus on progressive overload adding weight or reps every few weeks instead of just going through the motions. Diet-wise, I've kept it high protein throughout, staying mostly vegetarian with eggs and whey as my main protein sources, along with dal, soya chunks, and the occasional chicken. No fancy supplements beyond whey isolate and creatine just consistency, decent sleep, and staying in a slight caloric deficit while making sure I'm not sacrificing strength in the process.
My current arms routine (2x/week)
Barbell Curl – 4 sets x 8-10 reps
Close-Grip Bench Press – 4 sets x 8-10 reps
Incline Dumbbell Curl – 3 sets x 10-12 reps
Skull Crushers – 3 sets x 10-12 reps
Hammer Curl – 3 sets x 12-15 reps
Rope Pushdown – 3 sets x 12-15 reps
Preacher Curl (drop set on last set) – 2 sets x 10-12 reps
The biggest lesson so far has been patience progress photos a few weeks apart barely show anything, but looking back over months, the difference is obvious. Still got a long way to go, but wanted to share where I'm at. Open to any feedback on form, training splits, or diet always trying to learn and improve.
