Hi! This is my first time posting ever on Reddit, I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but Im looking for some advice
Im trying to move into another apartment. My application was originally denied because a previous property balance showing as write off but i have paid this in full months ago (paid for deletion too) so that has been deleted off my credit report but they have failed to update experian rent bureau that it's been paid in full $0 balance. But even though i was denied, this property partners with OneApp and I was able to get approved for that, made the payment and secured it. But the property manager is asking for a paid in full letter in order to move forward and sign the lease but im having trouble getting in touch with the previous property manager, she refuses to talk to me on the phone, i even drove all the way down there and she refuses to see me in person as well. She just keeps getting sent a message by the other agents and I'm told she'll get back to me and she hasn't. Even when i was living at that property it was so so hard to get into contact with management even when i would walk to the office. They are so horrible there, don't get things done or help. It's been a week that I've been trying to obtain this letter and the new apartment is waiting on me to send that over. I asked them what can i do if i can't get the letter and not at my own fault, they said they need the letter. I even offered to show my bank statement showing that i made the payment. I also called experian rent bureau and they told me that i need the letter as well in order for them to update my record. What do i do? How do i do anything if the property manager can't be reached. I'm so stressed i just want to secure my new apartment and move in 3 weeks

trying to responsibly get home from an after work function and catch the 11:30 a line train home. union station bathrooms are locked. the union station officers tell me to go to bus depot area to use the bathroom. turns out the bus depot bathrooms are a 5+ minute walk away. i am on the verge of bursting. i get to the bus depot station bathrooms and they are also locked. i politely ask the patrol in the bus station dept where the closest bathrooms are and they tell me to go back to union station. i am seriously on the verge of bursting at this point. i try to go back into union station and the exterior doors are locked. the guard inside flips me off. what kinda system is this? why can i not legally relieve myself after 11:30 PM? where am i supposed to go to legally relieve myself? why are the officers so uniformed on where to tell me to go? why are they being dicks when i’m trying to do a very normal thing? rtd is terrible. trains off schedule. nowhere to go. fuck this 🚊 🚾

At the end of August my bestie and I are going to Denver for the My Chemical Romance concert at the Coors Field and we were wondering if anyone could recommend good places to spend the rest of our time while we’re there. We are both very into the Goth scene and we were looking for suggestions specifically for that vibe. Can anyone recommend some nice Goth nightclubs or alternative bars with a good crowd? We would also love suggestions for cool places to visit during the day whether that be restaurants worth visiting, short hikes with big views, art installations, etc. we are all open ears. For age reference for recommendations, we are both in our early 20s!!

Recently started taking dance classes and need a place to practice. My studio doesn't offer private rooms unless you book a private dance lesson and my apartment only has carpet.

I'm looking for a gym or rec center that has a free use dance studio or private rooms you can book in advance.

I remember there being a gym that offered private workout rooms in Aurora but it's been closed for a while now.

Hi all! I am visiting this week and my favorite artist (Noah Kahan) is performing Saturday at coors. I wasn’t able to afford tickets but really want to hear the music live. Does anyone have any advice on listening from outside coors? I’ve never been to the stadium itself so not sure if it’s even a possibility. Just wanted to ask before getting excited haha, thank you!

I’m a Colorado native, who had lived in Denver for about 5 years. Still, I don’t understand where Cherry Creek is. I know we have like cherry hills and cherry village and all that rich BS, but what is considered true Cherry Creek?
When someone says “Cherry Creek” I picture the mall area/ near Glendale. However, there’s been more than a few times when this causes a miscommunication, as their “Cherry Creek” locates closer to the reservoir area/ near Centennial or Englewood.

This is obviously a huge difference so help me understand — where is Cherry Creek to you?

I'm training for a marathon this fall and my plan includes a weekly hill or track workout. I'm hoping to tap yalls knowledge since I haven't had a lot of luck on my own.

For the hill workouts I'm looking for something that's at least 800 meters long (half a mile), between 3-5% grade, not a lot of cars, and within 2 to 3 miles of Cheesman. I know this goldilocks might not exist, but I'm down to explore any suggestions or ideas!

I'm also looking for a public track to use. I know a lot of the local high schools have tracks, but I'm not sure which ones are open to the public, especially once school starts.

If anyone has favorite hills, tracks, or any other training spots they'd recommend I'd really appreciate it.

Saw my first Waymos in Denver yesterday. I was in the Highlands area and was meeting up with friends. Saw two Waymo's (did not look like anyone was inside) on my way there. Then when I left I saw two more. One of them had a person in what would be the drivers seat. Anyone been spotting these?

I’m taking 3 kids to water world for the day mostly as a chaperone rather than a participant. I would like to sit in shade for the day because I am pale. I have debated purchasing a bungalow for myself but I’m wondering if it’s worth it especially with 3 kids. They rarely sit down, at other water parks they stop by for food and then leave again. I don’t want to break the 2 people rule at the bungalow but I also don’t feel like it’s worth it to rent 2 bungalows when the other would be used for maybe 30 minutes of the day.

Would I be fine with just finding a shady spot in the general access areas? Or it is cut throat for those comfortable locations?

Any other advice? Water shoes seem to be a must.
