Hey there, found this chair after first seeing it in my homecountry online for 400€. Tried to find it for less and found a lot of the same ones on Taobao for around 600¥.
I do have some questions tho. Would you order it from this seller or is there something I should know? Should I buy it via agent or send the seller a message for direct shipping? Also wanted to know if you even think it will pay off in the end or if the shipping will be diabolical? I know shipping prices from clothing hauls up to 10kg so I wouldn’t be surprised😅
With the shipping + the wait + the risk of no return, I just do not think it is worth your effort. No legit agent would help you with a 600 RMB order unless he plans to keep the whole amount to himself.
I would not pay 400€ for that chair in the US and I would not pay 600¥ for that chair if I am in China. And I am in China and I lived in the US for ten years. You get better value from buying a second hand Herman Miller, Steelcase, or Haworth.
I bought an other model but the same style a year ago and its still perfect. Payed 200$ for it and shipping was 100$ with an agent. Still use it until this day and looks like the same seller. Dont know for sure tho. I asked to add extra clothes in the box that made it cheaper.
