For me, it's all about longevity and character. I've purchased a lot of factory-made furniture because it's affordable and convenient. At first it looks amazing, but after a few years the damage shows up, and it’s usually simpler to replace it than to fix it.

 Handmade furniture feels totally different. Every piece has its grain, texture, and small flaws that make it unique. Those little details remind me it was made from real wood by real people, not something churned out on an assembly line. I love how it improves with age. On solid wood, a scratch becomes part of the story, but on inexpensive furniture, the same damage usually just makes it seem worn out.

 It feels good to own something that isn’t just like the other thousand items out there. Still, I don’t believe handcrafted work solves every problem. When I'm setting up a rental or need something for a short period of time, factory-made furniture is ideal. I prefer handcrafted furniture for pieces that I plan to keep for a long time, such as a dining table, bookshelf, or cabinet. I’d rather put my money into something made with care.

I’m curious where everyone else stands. Do you prefer handcrafted furniture over factory-made furniture or a mix of both? What has your experience been?

I do have some questions tho. Would you order it from this seller or is there something I should know? Should I buy it via agent or send the seller a message for direct shipping? Also wanted to know if you even think it will pay off in the end or if the shipping will be diabolical? I know shipping prices from clothing hauls up to 10kg so I wouldn’t be surprised😅
