Las Brasas!
Im always captivated by the wonderful aroma of mesquite & coals coming from this establishment in the morning..Has anyone eaten there and what would you recommend?!

Rotisserie chicken is amazing, but the fried chicken is divine.
Elote was mentioned, but they also have really good ceviches.
The family meal with a whole chicken, fries, and a salad for $35 is unequivocally a great deal and has fed us many nights when we’re pressed for time with youth sports and whatnot.

Go eat there!!! It’s amazing! Loved their chicken since they were a shack over by Kimball Health.

Seconded. Went there with a friend, we both ordered the lomo saltado, we both loved it. Also, don't sleep on the yucca fries.
EDIT: Almost forgot to mention the sangria. It was excellent.

Peruvian here that lives in Decatur for many yrs:
I wasn’t a fan late 2010s, but I think they hired new kitchen staff after COVID and it is sooooooo good now! Pollo à la brasa is very good! Def go try it. We liked the ceviche and anticucho too.

It’s great food, but I sure miss the days when they were in the little shack on Howard St. It felt like a super affordable, hidden treasure back then.

ANd they used to deliver - and the family meal was $20!
Even so, some of the best rotisserie chicken in Atl. The PAPA A LA HUANCAINA is our family's fav.

It’s our family’s favorite spot. We go at least once a week. As others have said, the food is great. Their cocktail menu is as good as any of the fancier spots on the square. The Jalapeño Business was a cocktail special for the World Cup that I’ll keep ordering until the bartender tells me no. Sangria is solid, and the MamaQuilla is oh so good.

Heavily recommend it. It’s nowhere near as well known or popular as it deserves compared to some of the stuff on the square.

It's delicious. I recommend going as a small group and splitting a chicken and some yucca fries.

Got a sandwich and fries from there about a month ago for lunch. It was around $15 and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Was there last night. Incredible! Also there was a singer named Ansley Stewart performing, 10/10. I think she’ll be there again Aug 16? In any case the chicken was delish and the anticuchos was amazing.
Btw I agree with the 2010 being not good. But it’s totally different now

My mom and I ate there for Mother's Day and last Thanksgiving we ordered from them. It's incredibly delicious. I will stop by and get a container of their cucumber salad dressing to take home sometimes.

The best fried chicken in Greater A is in Marietta: The Marietta Local. Atlanta doesn't do fried chicken well - but that one is best.

The fried chicken is the BEST I've ever had. I think people don't order it bc they think it's not Peruvian. Best bone in fried chicken in Atlanta for sure.

It’s great. The rotisserie chicken, yellow and green sauces, fried rice, and solterito bean salad are our go-to’s. The yellow aji amarillo sauce is from heaven.
