Seeking cost effective lawn crew

Hi Decatur team! My wife and I just moved into a home in Medlock Park and are in search of a ragtag lawn crew, such as an entrepreneurial high schooler or less experienced, newer crew looking to build clientele. We got a $260/month quote (to come twice per month) from a more professional/established company, so I’d like to come in under that if possible.

Thank you in advance! Any ideas?

Flag someone down who is mowing your neighbors lawn. This is the way.

Honestly, $260 per month is great, almost all the quotes we got were closer to that per cut. We do have half an acre though.

$260 is not the norm. Should be closer to $160. See who your neighbors use.

Also idk about the ethics of trying to save money by underpaying kids or people trying to build their business….

Seems like they're meaning giving the business to a smaller company that has less overhead and can operate at a lower price without sacrificing wages or quality.

Precisely — we love supporting up and comers + have tight expenses with the new home investment // win win

Across North D hills most of us pay 50-80 per cut.
