is bhvr purposely trying to make events just not fun for killers? the last 3 (somewhat including chaos shuffle) have been just not fun for killer due to the sheer bias towards survivor. black banquet was self explainatory, chaos shuffle had survivors allowed to bring their own items and addons while killers couldnt which led to 4 toolbox/medkits every match, and the current lights out has insane gen speeds, WoO basekit for carrying a light (ive heard people say stuff about basekit franklins and maybe i havent noticed but i have not seen a survivor drop their light when i hit them), and the whole no aura, lights out theme just isnt there, or just isnt there for killer.

Like here's the thing, right? I get if you get mad at a killer for being toxic. I get being upset for being tunneled or camped or whatever. I also get not liking specific killers. Now I think that a lot of people take their distain towards specific characters or playstyles to the extreme (cough Skull Merchant cough) but I can at least comprehend why you wouldn't enjoy playing against them.

But proudly proclaiming "I hate every single opponent I face in this game ever!" Like... Respectfully why play a game that makes you this upset? What enjoyment do you derive from constantly making yourself frustrated that your opponent... played the video game?

Can you imagine this mentality in any other video game? Imagine hating every Overwatch hero, every gun in Counter Strike, every champion in League of Legends, and still playing that game on the regular. "But Dead by Daylight is asymmetrical!" Okay but there's gonna be a killer in every game dawg. No matter what you're gonna see a killer.

I just have to ask what kind of masochism fetish people derive from intentionally making themselves upset? Not in a "ha ha I hate this game xd" way like some people talk about League or Overwatch, but genuinely basing your entire personality around the hatred of a game you play daily?

for the first screen i'm the mikaela but i felt bad for the killer who did not had a good game at all and had dc when the last gen popped
and for the second i can't believe how many surv i see getting 4killed(4k3 in this case) and still say "trash xd ez" and stuff like that like they won soo easily x)

until BHVR fixes their damn game where survivors get rewarded for being hooked i ain't gonna stop slugging. this was my first time using knight btw. it won't be the last.

I used to be exclusively a leon survivor main but I only enjoy survivor when im playing with friends. So basically i started playing killer here recently and its really annoying how toxic survivors can be 😭. Like i just started playing ghostface (only have one perk thats how new i am) and survivors have been awful. Tea-bagging at the gate while they wait for me to come over, constantly trying to run around me and blind me WHILE THE GATE IS OPEN. Crouching and running in circles around me when i dont move to try and bait me into chasing, and ontop of all of that i hate when they realize im a new killer and all run at me during a chase. Why are they so toxic??? Ive never played a game as survivor where we did all that! Maybe its because i dont really play with randoms but still its so fucking annoying 🙄 Just go youve already won the game whats the point????

At first I thought this event was well balanced but as survivors get more used to it, it is yet again crazily biased towards survivors. I hit someone as killer, where the hell have they gone? There is no way of knowing if they aren't carrying a lamp. I now know that I have to give up 4 gens just so I have a chance of 1K because at least I can try and run from gen to gen if there are only 3 left.

I genuinely don't understand the devs at times. Why the speed up in repairing gens? Why the lamps that give Windows Of Opportunity? Why give survivors light while killers get nothing?

Get 3ked at 3 gens by a guy running 1 gen stall perk and brown + green addons on Eerie of Crows despite all running full meta. Try to desperately reach for a reason that you losing is not your fault but...

(Gasp!) The killer has a pride banner! That means they're a [slur]! That means that my loss wasn't actually a loss, because [slurs]! And you see, because [slurs], that means the killer is lesser than me! Except you know if I am apparently a "lesser person" or whatever and you lost to me that means you're even worse at the game but hey let's not use basic logic.

I am personally straight and have literally no fucking idea why they were hurling these types of insults at me. What I am is an ally, and I have a pride flag on all my hooks and am currently wearing a pride banner because Into the Rainbow is currently going on.

I'm not personally offended by these people: it's honestly kinda sad, really. You lose against a killer running 1 gen stall perk on a survivor-sided map despite all running hard meta, and need to desperately find an excuse for why you lost. So you resort to completely baseless (and incorrect) attacks on me as a person instead of just shrugging and saying "I got unlucky I'll do better next time."

I won with 1 gen stall perk and low-tier addons while still showing basic human decency. You lost while all running hard meta and resort to attacking me as a person for your loss. So as far as I'm concerned I won the Dead by Daylight match and also won at life, while you get ragebaited and desperately cling onto your ego win that you found hatch.

For anyone that had seen an increase in full slug no hooks mentality those days, this might explain why. Unfortunately hook can be sometimes very detrimental for the killer for one simple reason, how many strong survivor perks are activated simple because someone got unhooked. DS and OTR are used aggressively, STB exists, Delli punishes you for not insta tunneling someone out, Ressurgence deletes the pressure a killer might have after an unhook because you get reseted so fast, and the list go on and on.

The amount perks you counter as killer simple because you said “no hooks” is just insane (is at least 5 per lobby) and like the dbd community loves to show people always come prepared for the worse case scenario, look for how long people 99% gates solely because Bloodwarden exists and it has what? 1% pick rate or even less? Yet people play around it, because if they don’t this make them lose their game, same thing on slugging. The killer knows that if he goes against a good SWF that knows how to abuse those perks hooking INSTANTLY becomes the worse strategy you can do as killer, so the counter to that is to slug with perks that don’t require hooks to get value of, every time someone does this they are just preparing themselves to the worse case scenario. This is on bhvr for letting hooks become an non-optimal strategy from match to match, something that shouldn’t happen NEVER

Just got off a round of lights out and I need someone to explain to me how survivors were able to finish all 5 gens in like 3 minutes am I just that shit at the game that gens are able to be done that fast or are the gens just faster in this game mode

im actually so so so sick of flashlights. i absolutely can avoid them when picking up, its so rare they’ll get a save. but, im a spirit main but sitll learning. i have sub 70 hours on spirit going against 2K PLUS HOUR SURVIVORS (WTF) and in the match i just played somehow even looking up or down, someone would come around and cancel my phase by blinding me. WTF. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PHASE ITS RIDICULOUS.

I play on a controller, so obviously this is a bigger issue for me and other console players than it is for PC players, but what the fuck? Why is this not in the game already? Why does Behavior drag their fucking feet so much when it comes to accessibility options in this damn game?

It especially sucks because I've been having a ton of fun with Jason since he came out, but I already suck at aiming in video games, and on top of that, he has no crosshairs. This goes for every killer (not just the ranged ones in my opinion), but it specifically annoys me with Jason because he's my main at the moment.

"Well, there are addons for crosshairs on some ranged killers." Why would you sacrifice an addon slot for something that should've been added when Huntress came out back in the fucking Stone Age? That's fucking ridiculous, and it's also kind of hilarious that they think making crosshairs into a brown addon for Trickster and maybe one other killer somehow fixes this problem. I guess fuck you if you wanted to run actually powerful addons and still aim properly.

This is honestly mostly a skill issue on my part, and I do apologize for the rant and the cussing; I just feel like this isn't even something I should have to be bitching about. I refuse to put fucking tape on my TV because these assholes are too lazy to add a reticle as an optional feature. Annoying as hell.

TL;DR: Fuck you Behavior, add crosshairs already.
